HOMECOMING GAME
*ROAR LOUNGE: The October 12th Homecoming game Roar Lounge tailgate will be held in the air conditioned Parkview Hall multipurpose room and patio area across from Riccardo Silva Stadium. Roar Lounge is the largest FIU Alumni tailgate party held two and a half hours prior to kick-off our alumni come together in a family-friendly atmosphere to show support to our FIU Panthers. Roar Lounge has something for everyone including music, games, a Tasting Village featuring samples from local restaurants, drinks, a variety of activities for the whole family even an appearance by the FIU Marching Band. We offer a limited number of activation tables to mix and mingle with our Panther Alumni. The Tasting Village is also the perfect opportunity for food and drink vendors to provide tasting samples and experiential sponsorship for over 400 alumni, families, faculty and staff.
Panther Fan Tailgate: All Panther Fan Tailgates will be held in the air conditioned Parkview Hall multipurpose room across from the Riccardo Silva Stadium. The Panther Fan Tailgates are held two and a half hours prior to kick-off at every home game with an average attendance of 200 people. We offer a limited number of activation tables at each home game. ALL HOME GAMES PLAYED at Riccardo Silva Stadium. For a complete listing of game times, visit fiusports.com.
About Panther Football Entering its 18th year of football in 2019, the FIU Panthers are coming off a program-best nine wins a season ago. FIU capped 2018 with a 35-32 victory over Toledo in the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl to finish the season 9-4 overall. The Panthers have earned backto-back bowl appearances and 17 wins in the last two years. On Nov. 15, 2016, Butch Davis was named the fourth head coach of the FIU football program, returning to South Florida where he made a name for himself as one of the premier minds in football. Davis will enter his third season at FIU in 2019.
