ADMITTED STUDENT DAY
Welcome
Forward-thinking, innovative, and unstoppable. In the last decade, FIU has been named one of the top universities for social mobility, innovation, undergraduate teaching, international business, environmental resilience, hospitality and tourism management, public policy, and international affairs; and of course, the highest pass rates on the Florida Bar.
We also know how to have fun. After all, this IS MIAMI! So today, engage, explore, interact. Even if you’ve been here before, get to know your future classmates. Talk to the student ambassadors. Your future starts here! Take advantage and experience FIU by immersing yourself in the culture that is being a Panther; that’s where the opportunities begin.
Our FIU puts “we” before “me”. We are part of something bigger than just one person. We are a community, and as a member of our community, you are part of an ecosystem where we push beyond our perceived limits to accomplish what was once thought of as impossible.
So today, be in it. Be part of our FIU. There is no race to the end. There is a full program of activities on the pages to follow. There are hundreds of faculty, staff, and students here to answer your questions. Spend the day making sure you know that an FIU education is exactly where you need to be on the pathway toward your dreams.
