RICK AUSTIN Rick Austin, with Austin Wealth, is widely regarded as one of the top financial advisors in the country with 44 years of experience in designing integrated wealth strategies. He offers a proven process to achieve clients’ personal and professional financial goals; a resource team of legal, accounting, taxation and risk management analysts; and access to the top insurance companies. Rick has served as member of the Board of Directors of The Nautilus Group, an exclusive, advanced planning team, and as a member of New York Life’s Advisory Board of Directors. He was also elected to the Agent’s Advisory Council and served as an AAC past president. His long-term affiliation with New York Life culminated in 2003 when he was named New York Life’s Council President, the highest achievement in the company. Rick’s industry recognitions include being a Life Member of The Million Dollar Round Table, Top of the Table and member of the MPI Study Group. Prior to his career as a wealth advisor, Rick played professional baseball for nine years with the Cleveland Indians and Milwaukee Brewers. A native of Tacoma, Washington, Rick is an alumnus of Washington State University. Rick and his son, Luke, have partnered together successfully at Austin Wealth for the past 15 years. Rick also has two daughters, Renee and Angie, as well as seven grandchildren.

DOUG AXON Doug Axon and his wife, Suzanne, have resided in the Legends neighborhood at The National since September 2001. They have been National Golf members since early 2002, and their Club interests include golf, dining and participating in various events at The National. Doug has been in the banking industry for over 35 years. He began as an internal auditor, and then worked for a public accounting firm, where he performed financial institution audits exclusively. He became the Chief Financial Officer at MidAmerican Bancorporation, then, via merger, became the CFO of Mercantile Bank of Kansas City. Through yet another merger, Doug became the CFO of the Community Banking Division at U.S. Bank. Doug left U.S. Bank in 2004 to work for locally owned Country Club Bank. Over the past 16 years, he has held several key management roles at Country Club Bank, including Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He currently serves as CFO. Doug was a member of the Board of Directors at Platte Valley Bank and serves on numerous other Boards for financial-related companies.

DOUGLAS L. BLEAM Doug Bleam is a CPA and the CFO at ECCO Select Corporation. Doug has spent his career in both public and private practice with experience in auditing, tax and management consulting. His specialties include process improvement, strategic and financial planning, start-up planning and implementation, transformation and business turn-around, systems implementation, capital and operational budgeting. Doug lives in South National with his wife of 31 years, Terri. They have three daughters — Sarah, Samantha and Sabrina. Doug, Terri and family have been members of The National since 2015 and enjoy all aspects of the Club including golf, the pool and the Fitness Center. Page 1

TIERNAN GOOD Tiernan Good served on The National Advisory Board in 2020. Tiernan, a St. Louis native, graduated from Truman State University and moved to Kansas City to work for Sprint. She married James, moved to Cleveland for a few years and completed her MBA. Tiernan currently works for Kansas Fiber Network as an Enterprise Account Manager. Tiernan, James and their two children, Keegan (16) and Michael (15), have been National members and residents since 2005. They love the neighborhood and the Club and want to help make it the very best. When not cheering for Keegan’s soccer and volleyball or Michael’s baseball and basketball, Tiernan loves to golf. She is a member of The National LGA and Deuce Women’s League. Tiernan also co-chaired the Morning Belle ladies’ member/guest tournament in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

JAY KIMBALL Jay Kimball, MD, has been a resident of Platte County since 1960, and a member of The National for 18 years. He has been practicing family medicine in Southern Platte County for 40 years. He is currently employed by Meritas Health and is a member of the Primary Care Advisory committee. He was previously chairman of the Department of Medicine and served on several committees at North Kansas City Hospital. Jay is a Diplomate of the Board of Family Practice and last recertified in 2018. He is a preceptor for the UMKC and MU Medical Schools. The emphasis of his practice has been preventative care. Jay’s community involvement includes Team Physician for Park Hill Trojan Football for 40 years; member of Platte Woods United Methodist Church for 55 years; Chairman of two building programs and various committees; and member of Parkville Symphonic Band and Northwinds Symphonic Band, playing French Horn. He was a member of the Northland Community Advisory Board for UMB for 28 years and is a member of the Park Hill Hall of Fame. He has been married to the lovely Marta Ohlhausen Kimball for 43 years. They have three adult children and two grandchildren, so far. Jay’s interests otherwise include golf, snow skiing and travel.

JOE MANDACINA Joe Mandacina is the Chief Communications Officer at Cerner Corporation where he leads the company’s communications organization including all aspects of internal and external communications, public relations, reputation management, CEO communications, social media, and crisis communications. Prior to Cerner, Joe spent 27 years at Sprint in a variety of executive positions. As it relates to golf credentials, Joe has played more than 30 of the Top-100 golf courses in the US including Pebble Beach, Cypress Point, Muirfield Village, Oakmont, Medina, Pinehurst, and many more of this nation’s most prestigious courses. He is civically active and sits on various boards. He graduated with honors from both Rockhurst University and Duke University’s Executive Leadership Program. Joe has been a National member since 2009 and lives in Briarcliff West with his wife, Roseann, and his children, Sophia and Joseph.

REED MARTENS Reed Martens has been a member of The National with his wife, Elle, since 2016. Both Reed and his wife grew up around the Club. Through his experience, both as an employee and member of The National, he has a strong understanding of how to maximize the member experience. Reed is a partner at Monsees & Mayer law firm. In 2019 and 2020, he was named a Rising Star Attorney, a recognition designated to the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40 practicing in Kansas and Missouri. Reed is an active member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association and Kansas Bar Association. He is also an officer of the Platte County Bar Association. Outside of work, Reed spends time volunteering for and supporting organizations dedicated to helping victims of sexual abuse, including the Children’s Advocacy Center and the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA). Reed looks forward to the opportunity to represent The National’s members, continue enhancing the Club experience and attract new members.

ROBERT McMINIMY Robert McMinimy is a new resident of Parkville, transplanted from Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a Texas native who has served in many different capacities at the clubs he and his wife, Kay Lynn, have been members of. At his most recent club in Charlotte (TPC Piper Glen), Robert served as the founding VP of the Men's Golf Association and eventually served as President of the MGA for three years. His service at the club continued as President of the Golf Committee (an advisory board to the GM of the club) for two years. Robert moved to the Parkville area to continue his career as a sales leader in the pharmaceutical industry. After 25 years with Genentech, he made the recent move to Astellas Oncology where he leads a sales team in the Hematology space. In his spare time, Robert is an avid golfer and enjoys hunting and fishing. Most importantly, he loves time spent with his grandchildren. Robert and Kay Lynn are building a home in the Reserve at Riss Lake and look forward to becoming meaningful members at The National Golf Club of Kansas City.

GAIL MICHELS Gail Michels has been a member and resident of The National since 2005 and has served on The National Advisory Board since 2018. She worked in business development with Cerner for 23 years in a variety of capacities, including handling corporate relations with the organization’s largest, most complex clients. Gail is a graduate of Mississippi College and University of Southern Mississippi with degrees in child psychology. Retiring from Cerner in 2009 has enabled Gail more time for family activities, traveling with family and friends and volunteering in the community. She also has more time for golf and is active in The National’s Ladies’ Golf Association (LGA) where she has served as President, Treasurer and Secretary. In addition, Gail played for The National Ladies’ Golf Team in intercity team play. Gail is active in her neighborhood at The Legends at The National where she serves as a committee chairperson. She looks forward to continuing to represent The National’s members and enhance the Club experience.

JASON B. MOORE Jason Moore is a founding member of DiPasquale Moore, LLC., a plaintiff personal injury law firm in Kansas City. Since starting the firm in 2013, Jason and his partner have grown the firm to include over 20 attorneys, 60 support staff and three offices. Prior to starting the firm, Jason worked at a defense civil litigation firm in Kansas City for 10 years. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri. Originally from Chicago, Jason has lived in the Kansas City area since 2003 and Parkville since 2009. He currently resides at Riss Lake with his wife of almost 20 years, Susan, and their two boys, Oliver (12) and Charlie (8). The family will be moving to The National in 2021 as soon as construction of their new home is complete. Since joining the Club four years ago, Jason and his family have enjoyed all the wonderful things that The National has to offer. He hopes to have the opportunity to draw on his skills and experiences — both as a member and as a business owner — to contribute to the enhancement of the Club experience for all member as a member of the Advisory Board.

TINA PEDERSON Tina Pederson has been a member of The National since 2011. While she partakes in most all of the Club’s amenities, she has only recently been more active on the golf course, spurred mostly by her oldest son’s passion for the game. Tina grew up in the Parkville area, attended Park Hill High School, then studied at The College of William & Mary. She lived in Washington D.C. and New York before settling back in Parkville. Tina is a Senior Director for Alvarez & Marsal, a global management consulting firm, providing economic and financial consulting services to distressed companies and companies facing litigation. She has an accounting degree and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst. With a young, active family, Tina is heavily invested in the future of the Club and looks forward to partaking in its stewardship.

WADE ROSENQUIST Wade Rosenquist has been a member of The National Golf Club since 2013 and has been a resident of The National since 2015. He and his wife, Luciana, have two young children, and between the four of them, use and are involved with just about every function and event the Club has to offer. Wade would enjoy an opportunity to be involved with The National Advisory Board and would be happy to volunteer his time to help see to it that we keep all levels of this Cub at a high standard.

MICHAEL ROYLE As a founding member in 1998, Michael Royle has been an advisor to the Club since its inception. In fact, he negotiated the contracts with Tom Watson when the course was developed. Michael has practiced law for 37 years and is a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP which employs 1300+ lawyers from all over the world. Based at the firm’s downtown Kansas City location, Michael represents regional, national and international clientele in a wide spectrum of negotiations, acquisitions and transactions. Professional affiliations include membership in the American Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Missouri Bar. Michael was recognized by peer review as one of The Best Lawyers in America. Selection is based on a peer-review survey in which leading attorneys cast more than 5.5 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas. Michael and his wife, Gwen, have lived at The National (and enjoyed it ) for 19 years. Michael and Gwen celebrated 30 years of marriage in 2020. They have three children: Michelle, Zack and Adele.

STEVE SHORT Steve Short is Vice President, Chairman and Owner of A D Demolition & Recycling, LLC and is highly regarded as the leading expert in the Kansas City region in demolition, having been in the business for 36 years. Steve has served locally as the MO/KS Chapter President of Associated Builders and Contractors, after a term on the Board of Directors for five years. He has also served as a Board Member of the National Demolition Association for 10 years with the distinction of being the only local demolition contractor to serve on the national level. Steve was a pole vaulter on the University of Missouri track team, where he obtained a BS degree in Agricultural Economics. Following graduation, he went to work for Mid-South Milling in Memphis as a commodity merchandiser, before starting his first demolition business in Kansas City at 26 years of age. Steve has started and owned several businesses in the Kansas City area including businesses in demolition, commercial roll-off services, real estate development, three landfills and excavation contracting. In his professional career, Steve has been responsible for demolishing thousands of buildings, including 18 blocks of buildings downtown for the Power & Light District, 13 buildings and two parking garages for the Federal Reserve Bank building, eight blocks of buildings for the IRS Center and The Mission Mall, to highlight a few projects. Steve and his wife, Diana, have been members of The National since 2000, when the Club opened. They have been married for 38 years, have three children, and five grandchildren (with the newest addition, Theodore Steven Short). An avid golfer who claims he’s “not good enough to play in the KC Cup,” Steve continues to participate in Club events in an attempt to “win something and get on the KC Cup team!”

CHRIS SIDA Chris Sida has been a member of The National, The Country Club at Loch Lloyd and The Deuce for four years. He moved to The National (on hole #2) with his wife, Jennifer, and their daughter, Ava, in March of 2017. Chris has been in the wine, spirit and wholesale beverage business for 40 years. He started his career in St Louis, working for a wholesaler and, after 20 years, started his own business and created CSM, Inc. Sales and Marketing. He has been very successful at building brands and developing “go-to” market strategies for many companies including Svedka Vodka, Sobieski Vodka, Western Son and Jefferson. He has also provided his time, “party truck” and products to help make The National the best Club in town. With an extensive background in the beverage industry, his involvement with The National Advisory Board would be beneficial to the Club and all of its members. Although Chris enjoys golfing, with a six-year-old and a business to run, he doesn’t get to play as much as he would like.

RAY SILVEY Ray Silvey has been a member of The National Golf Club since 2000. He and his wife, Arlyn, were named National Ambassadors in the early stages of the Club’s opening and have remained steadfast supporters of the Club. After 30 years with Dairy Farmers of America as Senior Vice President in Human Resources and Labor Relations, Ray started a consulting firm (Ray Silvey & Associates, Inc.) to assist organizations with labor relations, employee benefits and management training/development as well as compliance issues with regulatory agencies. Ray then took on the role of Vice President in Labor Relations and Human Resources with Prairie Farms Dairy where he has been since 2006. Although Ray is retiring, he will continue to serve Prairie Farms in an advisory capacity. Ray’s background also includes teaching business courses for several years at both Missouri State University and Drury College in Springfield, Missouri.

MIKE SOBBA Mike Sobba is President of Strunk, LLC, an Atlanta based consulting company that does business with community banks and credit unions across the country. Prior to going to work at Strunk in 2000, Mike worked at Commerce Bank in Kansas City. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. Mike later graduated from National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Mike and his wife, Debbie, have two sons (Chris and Nick) and have lived in Parkville since 1992. They have been members of The National Golf Club since March 2000, before the course was open for play. The couple served as Volunteer Chairs for The Watson Challenge at The National in 2013 and have stepped up to co-chair the 2021 event as well. Mike has been elected to serve on The National Advisory Board for the past five years. Page 6

SUZY SPALTY Suzy Spalty and her husband, Ed, are founding members of The National Golf Club. The couple joined the Club in 1998 and are currently DeuceStar members ‌ enjoying golf at both The National and The Deuce. While the odds of shooting a hole-in-one are about 12,000 to 1, Suzy has the rare distinction of making not one but TWO holes-in-one at The National within four days of each other! She aced holes #6 and #16. Another distinctive fact about Suzy is that she has stood on all seven continents! Suzy welcomes the opportunity to serve if elected to The National Advisory Board. She has much to contribute to the Board after 23 years of member experiences.

RYAN SPRINGER Ryan Springer, born and raised in Independence, Kansas, learned the game of golf at an early age from his grandfather. Ryan played two years of golf at Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Kansas and went on to get his BS Degree in Business Administration/Finance and Marketing from Kansas State University. After graduation in May 1997, Ryan worked at Bartlett and Company, a grain merchandising firm in the Kansas City Board of Trade. From there, he pursued his interest in investments and became a financial advisor. As a financial advisor with Edward Jones since 1998, with his office in Briarcliff, Ryan works to develop tailored financial strategies and oversee the finances and investments for clients throughout the United States. Ryan has established himself as a financial advisor who genuinely strives to understand what is most important to his clients. He uses an established process to build personalized strategies to help his clients achieve their goals and partners together throughout their lives to help keep them on track. Ryan has lived in Parkville since 2005. He and his son, Nick, live in the Monticello neighborhood and have been members of The National since 2012.

LYLE WEAVER Lyle Weaver was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. He has played golf his entire life as his family belonged to Indian Hills Country Club where he was a caddy, cart boy and lifeguard. Lyle attended and acquired his Associates Business degree at Johnson County Community College, where he also played golf and qualified each year for the National Junior College Championship. Lyle then attended Kansas University where he received his Bachelors Degree in Business. Lyle has established himself as a local business owner as he has owned and operated two franchises (Chem-Aqua and Taco Bell). Currently Lyle is the Director of Ops for DRG in Kansas City. Lyle has been a member of The National since September of 2018. He is currently serving on the Tournament Committee and in 2019 co-captained The National KC Cup team. Lyle was also a member at The Deuce from 2007 to 2010 where he served on numerous committees. Lyle has served on multiple steering committees in the past and will bring a fresh, forward-thinking perspective if he has the opportunity to serve the members of The National Golf Club.
