Dear Members, It is a little sad to say goodbye to summer but what a great summer it was at the Club ...
Lots of Pool parties, dive-in movies and games plus a new menu and enhanced service Additions of Pickleball and Basketball to the Club’s sports amenities Fabulous course conditions despite the record drought conditions and high temps Great member events — both golf and social — well attended and enjoyed by all!
I hope that you and your family are able to join us for our Labor Day celebration starting Friday, August 31st and lasting all weekend long. With the greens aeration already behind us, we are excited to have better playing conditions earlier in the fall season than normal. There is nothing quite like fall golf at The Deuce!
Steve Shrawder Club President

Spencer Roberts Director of Golf Course Maintenance
Dear Members, The golf course finally received much-needed rain in mid-August, which was a refreshing break for the property. Our irrigation lake also benefited from the large amounts of rain and run off; the lake is full for the first time since the beginning of June. With our second greens aerification completed, the team is now focused on repairing any imperfections caused by the summer stresses. We have started to seed the rough and have completed select cultural practices in the Zoysia. Once the new seedlings have germinated, we will fertilize all of these specific areas to help them fill in as soon as possible. Fall is a very productive time for the Golf Course Maintenance Team. We look forward to completing multiple small projects over the next few months. These projects include adding irrigation, renovating select native areas and adding drainage around a few greens. Please keep your carts in the fairways as much as possible. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you on the course.
