At the Fitness Center, we’re loaded with options!  Spacious workout room features multiple state-of-the-art treadmills, ellipticals, stair climbers, stationary bikes and rowing machines.  Cable machines and free weights offer endless options for a full-body workout.  Unlimited participation in our Flex-n-Fit yoga and fitness classes.  Opportunities for enhancing your fitness journey with personal training.  Sparkling clean showers, complimentary lockers and dry saunas.  Convenient location … right in the neighborhood!  Daily hours of operation from 5a to 10p with safe, key fob access. In addition to these amenities and services, the sense of community, motivation and focus you’ll experience at the Fitness Center will keep you challenged and coming back for more! Monthly membership rates are $40 for an individual, $60 for a couple or $80 for a family with a minimum one-year commitment. The Fitness Center follows the Belton School District closure policy. If the district cancels school, the Fitness Center will not have classes on that day.

Loch Lloyd’s Certified Personal Trainers are ready to create a customized workout plan that fits your individual needs. Regardless of your level of fitness, our trainers will guide and coach you along your fitness journey with exercises that work, using equipment the correct and most efficient way so that you’ll get the most out of each training session.

Safety Protocols The following protocols are enforced at the Fitness Center:

 Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent.

Fitness Center Director Lance Darling and his team have a combined 86 years of personal training experience! Take advantage of their expertise and get started on your fitness journey today for as little as $40 per session with no long-term commitments. Weekday, weekend and evening sessions available.

 Hand sanitizer and wipes are provided.  We clean and sanitize member touch points (restrooms/equipment) throughout the day.

Heather Layton joined the Loch Lloyd Fitness Center team in August of 2020. With a passion for movement and a solid understanding of the human body, Heather has a reputation for designing and teaching well-balanced classes that are fun, upbeat and suited for yogis of almost any level.

In addition to teaching, Heather offers private lessons at the Fitness Center. These private practices are available one-on-one or for small groups and are customized specifically to meet your unique needs. Heather will modify exercises to account for imbalances or injuries you may be experiencing. She will also intensify each workout to keep your body, mind and balanced challenged in new ways. Heather grew up as a competitive dancer and athlete and her interest in movement has followed her throughout her life. She received a degree in Human Biology with a concentration in Psychology from the University of Kansas. She discovered her love for yoga nine years ago and received her 200-hour certification in 2017 through LifePower Yoga. On a personal note, Heather has been married for 19 years and is mom to two boys. She is actively involved in her kids’ schools, sports and scouting troops.

Heather’s Mixed Level Vinyasa Flow Yoga provides a full-body workout, creates flexibility and balance and ends with a state of deep relaxation. Warrior Sculpt & Strength Yoga offers traditional yoga poses mixed with hand weights to help you feel stronger and more balanced. -2-

Mixed Level Vinyasa Flow Mondays & Wednesdays at 8:30a

A fun, upbeat class, linking breath and movement to create a full-body workout while calming the mind. We start with gentle movements to warm the body, move into poses that strengthen while creating balance and flexibility, and end with a state of deep relaxation in Savasana. Designed for yogis of almost any level, with the ability to simplify or intensify movements.

Warrior Sculpt & Strength Yoga Fridays at 8:30a

Build strength, core stability and balance while lengthening muscles and calming the nervous system. A combination of yoga poses mixed with hand weights will make you feel stronger and more balanced with increased control of large and small muscle groups. You’ll feel energized after this balanced fullbody workout, complete with stretching and a short Savasana.

Private Lessons

45 minutes for 1 member: $55 60 minutes for 1 member: $70 $50 for each additional participant

Small Group or Family Lessons 3 to 5 members at $40 per person

Megan Phillips is a Certified Personal Trainer and Instructor through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is passionate about training and teaching others (from young athletes to seniors) and enjoys working with anyone who desires to improve their health with a fit lifestyle. Megan is a firm believer in creating the right environment for her clients to thrive in when it comes to their fitness journeys. She strives to have a positive impact as she helps others become the healthiest version of themselves … mentally, emotionally and physically. Understanding the need for personalized training, accountability and setting clear and attainable goals, Megan is convinced that health and fitness objectives can be achieved with consistency, FUN and hard work — ultimately resulting in a lifestyle transformation that is sustainable and enjoyable! We welcomed Megan to the Loch Lloyd Fitness Team in January of 2020. She currently teaches three classes at the Fitness Center and is available for personal training sessions.

HIIT-n-Burn Tuesdays at 8:30a

Burn calories with us in our total body HIIT-n-Burn class! Build up your cardiovascular strength while improving muscular strength and endurance through a variety of exercises. All fitness levels are welcome.

Fit to the Core Thursdays at 8:30a

Improve posture, balance and overall strength in this “core-blast” class! This class is designed to target abs and back while improving overall balance and stability. All fitness levels are welcome.

Functional Strength Fridays at 7:30a

Strengthen your body to improve overall wellness in a functional way! This class will allow you the opportunity to gain muscle strength as we focus on specific muscle groups each week, enabling you to increase functional strength needed for your everyday activities. All fitness levels are welcome.

Total Yo-Golf Conditioning is an excellent program for golfers during the off-season. This fun, energetic program is designed to improve the mobility, stability, balance, strength and power of the muscles that directly affect the accuracy, distance and consistency of your golf swing.

Group sessions take place at the Fitness Center Mondays and Thursdays at 5:45p and Saturdays at 9:15a. Classes are led by Joni Van Horn, Level 2 Certified Yoga for Golfers Specialist. Sessions include 30 minutes of Total Golf Conditioning (stretch, balance, strength, cardio, core) and 30 minutes of Core Yoga (stretch, balance, core, mindfulness). The fee is $150 per month for 12 sessions or $105 per month for six sessions. The drop-in fee is $22 per session. Individual and small group sessions are also available.

Carrie McConville, Licensed Massage Therapist at Loch Lloyd Country Club, provides a wide range of massage services at the Fitness Center or in your home. Appointments are available from 9a to 5p Monday through Thursday. Friday, weekend and evening appointments are available by request.

Taylor Gonzales joined the Loch Lloyd Fitness Team in February of 2021 after spending 10 years in the sports performance world. She has trained athletes, provided life-aftersports training for adults and worked with children to develop strength and conditioning. Taylor is a graduate of Alabama’s University of Montevallo where she received degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition Science. Throughout her college years, she was active in soccer, track and cross country and was an all-region and National Championship competitor. Taylor is now pursuing a graduate degree in Communications and Leadership at Washburn University while running track and looking to win her first national title. Instilling confidence and helping others achieve their goals is what drives Taylor’s passion.
