ABOUT THE PRODUCER Lunanime is a film production company, created within the Lumière Group, that focuses on fiction and animated film projects. Its first feature film, Meisje by Dorothée Van den Berghe, was successfully completed in 2002 and was followed by a series of short films. In 2010 Lunanime produced Vanja d’Alcantara’s feature film debut Beyond The Steppes and co-produced the Academy Award® nominated animation feature A Cat in Paris. In 2012 Lunanime co-produced Jacques Audiard’s Rust and Bone, starring Marion Cotillard and Matthias Schoenaerts, which competed for the Palme d’Or in Cannes. Lunanime currently has several projects in development and is, among others, co-producing Alain Gagnol and Jean-Loup Felicioli’s new animated feature Phantom Boy. The production outfit is involved in the production of international crime series as well.

Offline is an emotional, tender story carried by a mesmerizing score by Triggerfinger. The latest revelation to emerge from the booming Flemish film scene, Offline won four prizes at the Amiens International Film Festival.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR Peter Monsaert studied language and literature at the Ghent University and afterwards graduated as Master of Audiovisual Arts at the Ghent Royal Academy (KASK). He has developed an artistic career in various disciplines, always exploring the crossover area between film and performance. His cinematic involvement in multimedia theatrical productions eventually provoked him to step onto the stage himself, featuring as an actor in no less than six self-written theatre plays. Offline marks his return to film as an autonomous artistic expression. His rich and multi-faced artistic background and experience constituted a solid basis for this first feature-length theatrical film which marks the beginning of an interesting and challenging new professional career.
