Intersecting Your White Feminism

While my journey to attend the Women’s March in Washington, D.C. earlier this year was a monumental opportunity, it made even more clear to me the true lack of intersectionality in feminism that still persists today. Nevertheless, the women of color and queer women of color who were there still made their presence known and strikingly so. I wanted to capture it on color film—a medium that was originally created to capture white skin. I want to help counteract our erasure.
