Drive there and back in a day and still have time for a spot of lunch and some sightseeing. From Sydney to The Blue Mountains (4-5 hours round trip) Take in the stunning scenery as you wend your way to the Blue Mountains National Park. If you have time visit Mount Tomah and Bell before heading to Mount Victoria. You may want to make a restaurant reservation before you leave just in case. From Melbourne to Lorne (5 hours round trip) Head down the Great Ocean Road to Lorne and soak up the breathtaking views. Make sure to stop and enjoy some fish and chips whilst relaxing in a nice spot on the beach. From Brisbane to Noosa Heads (4 hour round trip) Don’t forget to pack your bathers when you head north along the Bruce Highway to the Sunshine Coast. Carry on up until you reach Noosa Heads, where you’ll have the pick of the wall-to-wall restaurants, Noosa National Park and surf and family beaches. From Perth to Margaret River (6 hour round trip or stop overnight) The long drive from Perth along the Forrest Highway is well worth the delicious treats waiting for you in Margaret River. And lucky you, there will be plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from with tasty dishes made from local produce. We dare you not to try the wine and cheese there!
