Lake Maggiore ITALY

spectacular scenery on Isola Bella and Isola Superiore, situated just off the coast of the charming town of Stresa, or take the Lake Maggiore Express across the valleys and coastal villages. This stretch of railway runs from the aforementioned city to Locarno in Switzerland and stops at numerous little spots of beauty along the water. Explore some of the local markets and cafĂŠs, visit the Umbrella Museum in Stresa (because why not?), and then strap
on your best hiking boots for a walk in the wild to such amazing places as the UNESCO Heritage-listed Sacred Mountain or the Alpine trail around the Mottarone peaks just next to Stresa.
