DAY 1

Welcome to Israel Meet your tour representative and transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner. DAY 2

Haifa – Galilee – Tiberias The day will begin with a visit to the house of Simon the Tanner and the ancient port of Jaffa, before moving along the shores of the Mediterranean to Caesarea, where Peter baptized the centurion Cornelius. See the Roman amphitheater, aqueduct and old port, then travel onwards to Haifa, Israel’s largest port city, built on the slopes of Mount Carmel. Proceed to the famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Baha’i Shrine, and then continue to Muhraqa, the place of sacrifice, where Prophet Elijah defeated the False Prophets of Ba’al. The tour ends at Tiberias, nestled on the Sea of Galilee, a site famous for Jesus’ miracles. Enjoy a delicious dinner and stay overnight in the Galilee area.

DAY 3

Galilee – Capernaum – Cana - Nazareth After a hearty breakfast, you’ll drive through the landscapes of Galilee, before visiting Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry after he left Nazareth. You’ll stop off at Tabgha to see the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, and the Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. Other sights for day three include St. Peter’s house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with His authority, where it’s believed Jesus dined with His disciples. You’ll continue to Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Your final location of day three is Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph, where you’ll visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, built over the grotto where Archangle Gabriel appeared to Mary. You’ll return to Galilee to enjoy dinner and a comfortable night’s rest.

DAY 4

Jordan Valley – Jericho – Jerusalem Feeling well-rested and fed, set off towards Jerusalem, taking in the Jordan Valley. Your first stop is the traditional baptismal site, Yardenit on the Jordan River, and then you’ll continue to travel along the Jordan Valley. You’ll stop off at the ancient city of Jericho, believed to be the oldest city on earth, and en route you can view Mount Qarantal, where Jesus spent 40 days in the desert. It’s also the place where Jesus stopped on the eve of the Passover, and where he cured the blind man during his stay at Zacchaeus house. See the Dead Sea at the lowest point on earth (400m below sea level) and take a dip at a private beach, where you can experience floating in the salty, buoyant water. Dinner and your overnight stay will be in Jerusalem.

DAY 5

Jerusalem Old City - Bethlehem Take in the impressive view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, before visiting the Garden of Gethsemane in the Kidron Valley. Head to Mount Zion, where you’ll see the tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper. Enter the Walled Old City and visit the restored Roman Cardo and the Jewish Quarter, and then stroll along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Other sights include the Dome of the Rock Mosque, in the Temple Mount area, and the Western (Wailing) Wall. Back on the road, you’ll be driven to Bethlehem to see the Church of the Nativity, the Manger Square and the Shepherds’ Field. Return to Jerusalem for the night.

DAY 6

New City of Jerusalem – Ein Karem Visit the New City of Jerusalem, and see the scaled model of Jerusalem from the Second Temple period. You’ll drive past the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament building and to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust. You’ll also have the change to enter the museum and see the Children’s Memorial.
