Start your exploration of Catania from its Baroque UNESCO Heritage-listed centre.

Marvel at the large cathedral, lose yourself in the narrow streets and then find your way to the delightful La Pescheria Market, where lots of local treats can be sampled for lunch.

Regardless of where you find yourself in the city, you’ll always be able to see the dark giant figure of Mount Etna, piercing the clouds. If you’ve brought your hiking boots with you, the slopes of the mountain are a

great place to go on a day tour as well. That is, of course, when you’re not exploring the sights of Catania or soaking up the sun by the stunning eastern coast.

All rooms have a double or two twin beds, a window overlooking the park surroundings of the hotel, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Dining Your stay at the Grand Hotel Villa Itria includes daily breakfast, served each morning in Zenzero restaurant, where the cuisine is freshly prepared, using locally sourced ingredients notable for the region, which are never frozen.

Guests will also have two complimentary dinners included per stay, which will be served at the Zensero Restaurant.

Zenzero Restaurant Delectable Sicilian cuisine can be enjoyed in an intimate setting, with locally sourced meat and fish served up and paired with fresh produce from nearby suppliers. A specialist wine list boasts excellent Sicilian options, with others available on request.

Bar Circe A relaxed setting to enjoy a drink, Bar Circe serves a refreshing range of drinks to be enjoyed any time between breakfast to after dinner. Try the special cocktails made carefully by the trained barmen who use seasonal fruit for typical Sicilian flavours and colours.

Appetizers are also available at the bar.

Wellness Take the time to pamper and relax at the exclusive Saudi Wellness Centre. Extending to over 1200 square metres, the wellness area features a fitness area which is fully equipped, a sauna, Turkish bath, a frigidarium, experience showers, a heated indoor swimming pool and a colour-therapy pool.

The relaxation area is where guests can enjoy herbal teas and fresh fruit, in between use of the facilities or a personalised treatment. Massages, therapies or beauty treatments are available here.
