Jersey CHANNEL ISLANDS The most southern of the British Channel Isles, the old Bailiwick of Jersey is situated immediately off the coast of France. An island pearl glistening in the sun, the wild scenery and the warmer climate may make you think that you’ve arrived in a foreign country. You have, however, come to the very homely and welcoming haven of Jersey. The stunning landscape of this island stretches from the jagged cliffs along the northern coast, across the green fields and tree-lined roads of the interior, to the beaches and wide bays around the capital of St Helier at the south of the island. From the top of the medieval castle of Mont Orgueil on the eastern coast, you can gaze out across the Gulf of St Malo and the small islands that sit in the waters near the French coast. Originally built by the Normans, this castle fortification has been modified by various subsequent rulers. The marks of history are visible throughout the island. From the Neolithic La Hougue Bie, which is considered one of ten oldest buildings in the world, to Elizabeth Castle guarding the bay around St Helier, there are plenty of things to explore here. Visit the War Tunnels for a glimpse of life on the island during the Second World War and how the Nazi prepared Jersey against invasion. For a comprehensive coverage of the island’s history, head to the Jersey Museum & Art Gallery found in the heart of St Helier.

Half-board DINING The Head Chef at St Brelade’s Bay Hotel and his team prepare a wide choice of food from simple, light dishes to modern Jersey inspired fare using locally sourced, quality produce. There is a variety of menus to suit every taste from a range of dining options. Your stay at the hotel is on a half-board basis, meaning daily breakfast and dinner are included and served at the Bay Restaurant. Dinner is a special affair at the St Brelade’s Bay, as you will be served an evening meal of three courses from a special set menu. Please note: Drinks are not included

The Bay Restaurant
The main hotel restaurant offers a beautiful view of the St Brelade’s Bay. Here you will be able to taste delicious local samples of fresh seafood and vegetables. The lunchtime Plat du Jour is an ever popular favourite and the Sunday lunch very much loved by the locals.
The Petit Port Cafe
The pool bar cafe offers a great outdoor dining experience. Overlooking the sparkling waters of the main swimming pool and the bay in the background, you cannot wish for a more relaxing setting for a drink or light lunch. The café offers a tasty ‘al fresco’ lunchtime option prepared on the outdoor grill.
The Cocktail Bar
Fancy a glass of champagne or a cocktail? The perfect place for you to enjoy your favourite drink is the main hotel bar. A bar menu is also on offer, where you can choose from traditional favourites to modern light bites. During the high season there is entertainment most evenings, ranging from a disco to jazz evenings.
