The elevation of the town also provides splendid views across the green countryside.
Perugia The old town of Perugia is steeped in history, and every street and corner reveals various delightful glimpses of the past. Visit the Cathedral of St Lorenzo which towers above the rest of the city, and explore some of the many other churches that profuse in Perugia.
