ACT 4.B DESIGN & WIREFRAME MOCKUP FOR YOUR WEBSHOP HOW DOES THIS DESIGN FIT YOUR CUSTOMER NEEDS? EXPLAIN YOUR CHOICE. We choose to work with a very classic and chic design. Therefore the template “Olive Tree” at wix.com fits our look perfect. Wix.com used dark and warm colours like brown and olive green. In order to fit our customer needs, we will use warm red and bordeaux colours. These colours are perfect to attract wine lovers. In addition, the colour Bordeaux reminds us of chic and quality wine. With the use of these warm colours we will create a perfect atmosphere that will feel the visitors at home when they enter our page. The template contents natural and quality photographs of olives. The use of quality photographs helps to create a trustful and real website. This is very important to gain trust of the customer. For this reason we will use clear and defined pictures of wine and vineyards. Often a sober and quality look can result in way better conversion then a fancy one. Therefore we will use a white background (only the background of the products) to promote our products.

Firstly we decided to put a big banner at the top of the page. This gives the customers a good feeling about our quality and trustworthiness. The banner will content a defined photograph of a vineyard. Secondly, we choose a prominent place to drop our logo. We placed our logo at the left top of the website because that place is particularly significant. We hope that visitors will remember us even without buying our products. Thirdly, we needed to create four menu buttons. We want a page for red wine, white wine, rosÊ and our activities. Then we added a search tool bar because this is very important for people who aren’t the time to look around. This can help them with finding the right wine faster. Fifthly we added two images with a little note box. This will be necessary when we want to promote our products of the month. We will put a clear and nice picture of our product of the month at our home page and also a button which immediately leads the customer to the right page. Beneath the right image we added stars that give the opportunity for customers to judge the product of the month. After putting images in our wireframe, we decided to add a video too. The video will promote our products and will play automatically when someone enters our site. This will create the right warm and cosy atmosphere that will attract the visitors to buy some quality wine. At the end of our brainstorm we decided to add a map with our location of our brick and mortar shop. Hopefully this will lead the visitors/customers easily to our shop. (The next print screens are the process of our wireframe set up.)
