Faith in Practice
Concordia’s Ambassadors in Mission Program engages students in service mission trips locally and abroad. Fourteen students, staff, faculty, and community members traveled to a remote village in Nicaragua, where they helped construct a library and took part in other projects. Prior to that, seven Nursing students accompanied by faculty traveled to Chennai, India, assisting a Tsunami rehabilitation project. Service trips like these provide perspective on comforts we often take for granted and our service and engagement creates meaningful experiences for all involved.
