WELCOME LETTER Welcome to the
2015 James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship!
Hey everyone; James, here again! I’m excited to take this opportunity to personally welcome you to this year’s Freestone Spring Championship and wanted to thank you for being a part of one of the fastest growing amateur event in the country. This is the fourth year I’ve hosted the event and the progress on and off the track continues to amaze me. Your participation is what’s driving all of the progression so I genuinely say thank you!
It’s true that you’re going to be faced with a lot of difficulties along the way. Broken parts (physical and mechanical), not enough money, lack of motivation, adversity of life and frustrating losses... BUT YOU HAVE TO KEEP PUSHING!! That’s what makes the difference once the gate drops and the checkered flag has flown. That’s what people will see and admire; your desire to work harder than the rest to achieve your goals!
Having a career that’s taken me to the premier level of motocross racing is truly a blessing and one I wouldn’t change for anything. Experiencing the excitement of riding the fastest bikes, winning numerous races and titles and being able to compete with the best in the world has made all the blood, sweat and tears worth it. It’s been a dream and I’m happy to be able to share my experience and do my part to help develop the next generation through the event here at Freestone.
The past year has been a period of adversity for me as well and one that I can’t wait to put behind me. My case with the FIM is something that still has myself and most of the motorcycle racing industry shaking our heads in disbelief... However, I’m ready to race again as soon as I can and it’s seeing the drive and passion of all of you that’s pushing me to come back better than ever!
As many of you know the world of racing is not easy. However, putting the time and effort and truly believing you can achieve your goals can make what most people say is impossible your reality.
When you look at the field this year you will likely notice the depth of competition. The Spring Championship is guaranteed to bring out a higher level of competition and intense racing; but that’s why you’re here, right? I’m also excited to have the AMA Women’s Cup in the mix with all the racing because I know the ladies have just as much passion to compete as us guys. So as you all are getting settled in, I want to say good luck and I can’t wait to watch you race for those championships. I also want to say thanks again for being a part of the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship and I’ll do whatever I can to keep it growing. Remember, if you end up on top of the box, I’ll be seeing you at my house in Florida this November to have more fun! Enjoy the races!

WELCOME TO FREESTONE Welcome to the
Freestone COUNTY RACEWAY AND MILLER RANCH
On behalf of the dedicated staff, we want to welcome all of you to Freestone County Raceway and my family’s personal ranch. As many of you know, the Miller Ranch has been under the same family name since 1853 so it’s very special to me every day I’m walking on this dirt and I only hope that you experience that same feeling. For six years (2007-2012) Freestone Raceway saw the greatest professional motocross racers compete on the very surface you will be competing on. It was a pleasure to host such a prestigious AMA event and there is no doubt that the Freestone Spring Championship has become an equivalent. When the 2014 event was complete, we were thinking of ways to improve the fairness and level playing field. We hope that adding an “organized” extra practice will be one of the answers. This year’s event should be no surprise as pre-entries are above any previous

level and with the addition of the AMA Women’s Cup, we want to welcome those new riders. We are honored that one of the sports greatest has extended our agreement for another two years. With that said, good luck to each of you during the 2015 James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship! Tony Miller President – Freestone County Raceway, LLC
