EPLF Fair Underlay joins EPLF as new associate member EPLF, the association of European Producers of Laminate Flooring is pleased to announce it recently welcomed Fair Underlay as a new associate member. Max von Tippelskirch (Swiss Krono Group), President of EPLF, welcomed Fair Underlay to the association and stressed that “Welcoming the members of the supply chain into the association shows the important role they play in enabling laminate flooring manufacturers to provide their customers with high quality products”. “We, at Fair Packaging, are very excited that Fair Underlay became an EPLF associate member and we are looking forward to a fruit ful cooperation with all the members of the association”, Mateusz Pretki, Chief Executive Officer at Fair Packaging, stated. Fair Underlay was established in 2011 and is part of Fair Packaging. It is the leading European manufacturer of professional grade nat ural rubber underlays. The production plant and logistic centre are located in west Poland (Posnan region) and produces 25 million of square meters of high-quality underlays each year with focus on performance and parameters fulfilling the most rigorous require ments of European floor manufacturers. Research on market trends and orientation on customer’s needs allow the company to develop a unique product offer. With this new addition to the association, EPLF has now 16 Ordinary Members, 24 Associate Members, and 10 Supporting Members.

MMFA MMFA welcomes Flooring Industries Ltd. and Servaco Product Testing - Joint Venture with VITO MMFA, the Multilayer Modular Flooring Association, is pleased to announce that Flooring Industries Ltd. joined the association as associate member and Servaco Product Testing - Joint Venture with VITO, as supporting member. The President of MMFA, Matthias Windmöller (Windmöller), welcomed both organisations to the association and stated that “with Flooring Industries Ltd. and Servaco Product Testing - Joint Venture with VITO joining our portfolio of associate and supporting members, we are gaining two highly skilled organisations which will strengthen our expertise in the area of product testing and IP assets manage ment for flooring technologies.” “We, at Flooring Industries, are very pleased to join MMFA. The fruit ful collaboration that will emerge from our membership will, I am sure, benefit both the company, the MMFA and our fellow members”, said Bart Van der Stockt, Managing Director at Flooring Industries Ltd. Marc Lor, Managing Director at Servaco Product Testing - Joint Venture with VITO, stated that “the company values the high-profile member community at MMFA. It is therefore committed to contrib uting its expertise in the area of product emission testing to the association’s knowledge pool.” Flooring Industries Ltd., also doing business as Unilin, division Technologies, manages and commercialises the innovation and IP assets of the Unilin and Mohawk Group and administers to date more than 2000 patents in over 300 patent families. The company obtained world-wide recognition by introducing and licensing out the Uniclic locking technology to the flooring industry and it has throughout the years continued to introduce innovative locking sys tems such as Unidrop and Unizip. In the last 10 years, it also heavily focused on new plastic-based cores and on digital printing and structuring of flooring panels. Servaco Product Testing - Joint Venture with VITO – was launched in March 2019 and is based in Belgium. The company provides lab oratory and consulting services in the niche market of product emission testing and volatile organic compounds reduction perfor mance testing. The product emission tests analyse the impact of all kinds of building and consumer products and materials on indoor air quality. With the addition of the Flooring Industries Ltd. and Servaco Product Testing - Joint Venture with VITO, the MMFA now has 25 ordinary members (producers of MMF flooring or their European representations), 28 associate members (supplier companies) and three supporting members (scientific institutes).
