NEW CIRANOVA ACADEMY OFFERS A LOT OF OPPORTUNITIES

In September 2020, Ciranova opened a brand new office and research and development building (Ciranova Academy) to reflect the company’s values and products. The Roeselare (B) based company has specialised for over 90 years in durable finish and maintenance products for indoor and outdoor wood. They have a wealth of expertise which shows itself throughout the whole company.

Ciranova has grown steadily in recent months and years. To cover this growth, they have erected a new building with offices, meeting rooms, a showroom, and laboratories just 500 metres from their production site. They have applied a very clear philosophy, as marketing manager David Verrue explains: ‘The tight, clean, and white look of our Ciranova Academy is quite unique in our sector, but it stresses how important we regard scientific and chemical research for the development of our products. You go inside the building and big windows immediately draw your attention to our laboratories where you really see laboratory staff at work. Research clearly takes centre stage here.’

Ciranova Academy includes one laboratory for R&D and another one for application. Whilst new products are developed in the R&D laboratory, clients can familiarise themselves with the options in the application laboratory. David Verrue explains: ‘This is where we invite furniture makers, parquet and wooden floor fitters, interior builders, and industrial parquet manufacturers. We have all the necessary machines to imitate any industrial situation and illustrate the strength of our products.’

INVISIBLE WOOD TREATMENT

A year ago, Ciranova launched its Plus range. These durable, zero gloss products have proved a real hit for wood treatment. They consist for at least 35% of bio-based raw materials, so they are not only ecological, but also they are not a health hazard. The Plus series consists of three products, namely Oculto Plus, Ecofix Plus, and Woodlook Plus. One by one, they guarantee an ultra-matt finish with attention to the natural look of your wooden floor.

Hard Wax Oil Titan is also an innovative and transparent oil which is doing very well. You use it to finish both parquet and wooden floors and wooden furniture. ‘The big advantage here is that you don’t have to buff in the hardwaxoil TITAN. The oil has been specially developed so that you can simply apply it with the roller and leave it to dry. That works faster and also gives the wood extra protection,’ says David Verrue. This oil is available in three degrees of gloss: matt, silk, and satin.

Once it is permissible, Ciranova hopes to welcome clients back to Ciranova Academy. David Verrue concludes: ‘The whole building serves our products and our clients. We hope to invite clients again shortly for more training and demonstrations and exploit the full potential of Ciranova Academy.’
