Skirting boards come in all sorts of shapes and materials and are chosen for the place where they will be fitted. And so, you will often find skirting boards in metal and aluminium in modern designs in combination with a rigid floor finish. Sometimes accessories are also necessary to give the whole a more rigid look. We would also mention that an aluminium skirting board is the perfect solution for fitting in so called ‘wet’ rooms, where you obviously think first of the bathroom.

Stainless steel

Stainless steel skirting boards are largely comparable to aluminium skirting boards. These, too, form the framework mainly of homes designed in a modern style. If such a thing is possible, stainless steel is even stronger than aluminium and is generally supplied brushed. Moreover, in terms of finish there is an extensive range, with colours like bronze or silver standing out the most.

With stainless steel, you should make sure that you choose a version which hardly gets scratched, if at all. There are good reasons why this product is delivered with a protective layer of foil on the facing side so that the skirting boards are protected during transport and assembly. We should also point out that stainless steel can be finished only with a special saw.

As will be clear from the range presented by manufacturers, just about all shapes are possible with aluminium skirting boards. PRODESO® HEAT GRIP SYSTEM

The system is composed of three elements: PRODESO® HEAT GRIP MEMBRANE, PRODESO® HEAT GRIP CABLE and PRODESO® HEAT GRIP THERMOSTAT KIT.
