Started in 1980’s as an anti-totalitarian protest based on excessive use of contradictions, antitheses, antinomies, deviations of sense, paradoxes in the creation process, the paradoxism as a literary movement was rapidly spread through the creators in the world, finding applications in many fields (such as geometry, physics, logics, literature), and his founder, University Professor Florentin Smarandache, Ph D, a refugee from Romania who now settles in New Mexico State, USA, became a well-known personality.
