Golf Tournament Set for Ocala National

In 2019, the Florida Thoroughbred Charities held a fun-filled and exciting sold out tournament, sold out dinner, auctions and promotional activities at Ocala National golf course. Because of the enthusiasm and fundraising success of that event, FTC will be hosting the tournament there on Oct. 8, the Friday before the Fall OBS sale. Back again is Valerie Dailey, FTBOA executive board member and charity chair, along with Debbie Green and Donna Delahunty, the golf chairs. Green has been a dedicated volunteer tirelessly holding events and planning the tournament because she strongly believes in the thoroughbred retirement program in Florida that ties in the correctional facility to change women’s lives. In addition to raising funds for the TRF Second Chances farm, funds raised go to youth education, industry and community charities.
