Dear Participant, On behalf of our membership & staff at Belleair Country Club, we would like to welcome you to the 2014 Boys’ State Junior Championship. We are all excited and honored to be hosting this very prestigious event. As you may already know, Belleair Country Club is Florida’s Oldest Golf Course (est. 1897) and was redesigned by the famed architect Donald Ross in the early 1900’s. We hope you enjoy the beauty & the challenge these courses bring with their original Ross charm. Upon arriving at Belleair Country Club you will be provided a guest bag tag that will have your name and a number on it. That number will be your locker number for the week of the tournament – located in the men’s locker room. This is to store any personal items: shirts, shoes, etc…but not valuables as players will not be provided keys. If you must lock up an item, then please speak to Raul Rodriguez, our Locker Room Manager. Belleair is not responsible for “lost” or “stolen” items. We would like all competitors to be familiar with some of our policies at Belleair Country Club. These policies apply to any/all spectators that may accompany you. 1) Belleair requires all players to have shirts tucked in neatly. 2) Belleair requires all players to wear collared or mock turtle neck golf shirts. 3) No person under age 18 shall drive or operate a golf cart at any time. We thank you in advance for your adherence to these policies. Please feel free to contact me or any member of my golf staff with any questions or needs that you may have prior to or during championship week. We hope you play well and we wish all players the best of luck in this year’s Championship! Sincerely,
Jim Slattery, PGA Director of Golf Belleair Country Club jim@belleaircc.com (727)442-0229
