11

Make sure you gave your carnations plenty of time to

open so they are nice and fluffy.

2 2

Start with one stem and spiral additional stems

around it so you get one large statement flower. You may only need six stems. Then bind tightly with floral tape.

3 3

Establish your overall shape. Place one lily stem high on

one side with a sponge mushroom low and opposite, finally the carnations go just off center.

18

44

Use the roses to fill in the major holes, try clustering a

couple together to make an impact.

5 2

The eucalyptus should fill in the transition between

elements and the container's edge. Keep it light and airy.

6 2

Use the remaining filler flowers to fill any additional

holes or places you can see the floral foam in your base.

11

flower Recipe Consider the natural shape of your holly

branches and place them to establish the shape of your overall arrangement. Be sure to allow them to extend beyond the sides, but not front and back.

2 2

Continue until you have a nice

framework or backdrop to work with. If the arrangement is to be twosided, don't forget to work both sides equally.

3 2

Add your evergreens at the base allowing

for dramatic draping over the sides of the container.

29

4 2

Scatter the alstroemeria

throughout. Try to keep it a little shorter than the holly branches.

5 2

Start placing your fujis near the center

of the arrangement to provide a focal point.

6 2

Continue to add them by keeping

clusters of two or three blooms together.

7 2

Use the red dogwood branches

to add height and color to the tall side of your arrangement. Add the seeded eucalyptus to the bottom to soften the transition to the container.

8 2

Finish up with the gold sparkly

elements. Nestle the pinecones towards the bottom. Create a statement with the glittery branches.
