Ballet & Tap

Students develop rhythm, poise, and coordination while learning the fundamentals of ballet and tap. Children will also develop rhythm and music appreciation skills. Please have dancers wear a leotard, tights, and bring both ballet shoes and tap shoes in a dance bag or backpack. Chess

Chess instruction for beginner to intermediate level players, utilizing a year-round curriculum which includes lessons for brand new beginners as well as more advanced players. All students are taught on their level. Classes are structured with a combination of individual and group lessons, and practice time. Bowmen Summer Basketball Academy - Blended

This class is all about fundamentals. Ball handling, passing, and shooting basics are taught in this fun training class. The goal is to excite young players about the game of basketball. Classes are taught by professionals who have coached for a decade and led youth athletes to the next level. CHILDREN’S PARADE

Saturday, July 3 at 10 a.m. Timber Creek Elementary, 1900 Timber Creek Road

Line up begins at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek Road. Decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, and strollers will parade a short route to the old Lewisville ISD school administration building where you will enjoy free hot dogs, drinks, children’s activities, and live entertainment.

EVENING PROGRAM & FIREWORKS

Sunday, July 4, 5 to 10:30 p.m. Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane Fireworks begin at approximately 9:50 p.m.

Come out and spend Independence Day with the Town of Flower Mound! Independence Fest 2021 will include live music featuring Le Freak and headline act Josh Abbott Band, concessions, a kid’s zone presented by CoServ, car show, lots of exhibitors, and a great fireworks show presented by McDonalds. The evening program, fireworks show, and off-site parking are FREE! The rainout date for the fireworks show only is July 5.
