FloMo Spring Break Explorer Camp

Spend your elementary school break at the CAC doing arts and crafts, playing gym and outdoor games, swimming, and hanging out with your friends! This camp is for first through fifth grade students ONLY. Space is limited and fills quickly, so register early. NEW! Baking Like a Pro

Who doesn't enjoy a warm and delicious baked good straight out of the oven? Come celebrate baking with us, and learn new skills and techniques. Participants will learn more about recipes and ingredients, and best of all, get to eat everything we bake. An additional supply fee of $35 is due to the instructor on the first day of camp. Young artists will create eight masterpiece paintings and drawings using four different mediums: acrylics, watercolors, charcoal, and oil pastels. Students learn fine art principles, not just simple crafts; still life's, land and seascapes. Bring paper towels, a snack, and wear an old T-shirt. Bowmen Dodgeball Camp

Our most popular camp is super fun and very active! Just like summer camp, this Spring Break camp features all the games: classic, army, backboard, Jedi, sniper, doctor - too many to list! This camp features drills, games, and skill instruction covering ball handling (1 and 2 ball), passing, creating space, moving without the ball, proper shooting form, offensive and defensive footwork, shooting games, competitions, and tournaments. Bubbles, Smoke, & Explosions!

Have fun with chemistry! Make a crystal garden, synthesize your own slime, learn about our solar system by making a comet with everyday items, and have a shocking time with a Van de Graaff generator by experiencing light up close. Blast off with knowledge of flight! In this exciting camp, participants build their own rockets and planes, experiment with propulsion systems, and launch and recover rockets. This camp is the perfect way to learn programming, 3D modeling, and game design with Roblox Studio, a top of the line entertainment platform for audiences under the age of 18. Students will make professional-quality games that can be played with family and friends. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop or iPad.
