Description: Fibreglass wound, with a dust-repellent coating, 400mm diameter lid fixed with S/S bolts. Complete with pressure gauge, manual air vent and water purge valves. Maximum operating pressure 250 kPa (2.5 bar). Test pressure: 375 kPa. All Berlin OC-1 Filters are supplied pre-loaded with OC-1 Filtration media.

OC-1 Filtration Media - The future of swimming pool filtration OC-1 is an open cell media that has very low resistance to allow more water to be turned over in a pool. It has a huge capacity to store debris and matches the filtration quality of sand and glass filter media. However unlike all other media, the flow rate will not slow down once a small amount of dirt is caught, therefore optimising your filtration system and resulting in healthier water for you and your clients. Light Weight - Unlike sand, gravel and glass, OC-1 is incredibly lightweight so is easy to handle and transport.
UV DISINFECTION
Save Power - It can reduce variable speed pumps by around 20% to achieve the same water flow through the filter without compromise, producing impressive energy savings. Save Water - The huge debris retention results in less back washing frequency. On new installations a smaller pump can be specified to produce the same flow – saving running costs and initial outlay.
CHEMICAL CONTROLLERS AND DOSING
Save Time - Due to its constant flow rate and huge debris capacity, OC-1 only needs to be backwashed once every 3 months.

OC-1 media really excels in the commercial sector.
The debris capacity of OC-1 is more than 20 times that of sand or glass.
Potential savings in running costs come from the ability to reduce pumps speed or use smaller pumps, reduced backwashing and water consumption.
OC-1 removes 81% of 10 micron particles in a single pass and can even remove particles as small as 1 micron without flocculation or coagulation.
