WE
FLUTIE FOUNDATION & FIDELITY ALIGNMENT CONNECT
We are passionate about CONNECTING our Community (self-advocates, donors, volunteers, sponsors) to make a greater impact. We also ensure that connections are made on individual levels, and that each autistic person we work with is truly SEEN and connected with, so they may live life fully. The goal of our events and seminars is to further connect new audiences together, and ensure that autistic people are SEEN - promoting inclusion and respect for all.
APPRECIATE DIFFERENCES “When you meet one person with autism, you've met one person with autism." We elevate the voices and stories of people with autism in everything we do to show the full spectrum of all abilities. We also acknowledge intersectional differences within the autism community, and ensure self-advocates representing all backgrounds are able to share their unique stories with the world.
RECOGNI ZE CONTRI BUTI ONS People with autism can positively contribute to their communities they live and work in. The Flutie Foundation works to help autism self-advocates build a full life that includes finding their niche in employment or school, being active and social, and staying safe, supported and informed. All autism self-advocates are compensated for their time at Flutie Foundation events and seminars for their meaningful time & contributions to sharing our mission.
EVALUATE We are constantly evaluating our impact and the areas of need in the autism community. Our driving force behind everything we do is being there for the immediate needs that arise for people with autism TODAY. We work to make sure that people are able to live each day to the fullest. As needs change, we rise to meet and accommodate families with autism - as we have been doing for almost 25 years.

Estimated Budget The majority of our presenters live locally; however, depending on who comes, 2-3 could require travel from out of town. In addition, as part of our mission, we typically compensate all of our self-advocate presenters with a stipend of $50-$100. The cost of our presentation would not exceed $5,000 and will likely be less.
