graphic history of how America's most iconic symbol came to be.
The most iconic statue of its kind on the planet. Many know it was a gift from the people of France to the people of America. However, the incredible story of how this monument very nearly didn’t happen is not widely known. French sculptor, Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi became the driving force for one of the most ambitious international construction projects of its time. For Bartholdi completing the statue for the centenary celebration of the Declaration of American Independence became his life’s work, but its construction would lead to a thrilling race against the hands of time.
Julian Voloj was born in Muenster, Germany, to Colombian parents. He is the author of a number of internationally successful graphic novels including Basquiat (with Soren Mosdal, Self Made Hero, 2019), Black and White (with Wagner Willian, Abrams, 2023), and (Not) A New York Love Story (with Andreas Gefe Fairsquare, 2023). He lives in New York City.

Ella and Madeleine don’t know it yet, but they’re about to embark on the strangest romantic adventure of their lives, and it’s not just their hearts that are getting stolen in this laugh-out-loud, capering graphic novel.
Ella can’t seem to remember a single thing from the party at a mysterious stranger’s mansion, and why has she woken up in her bed surrounded by a magpie’s nest of objects that aren’t her own? And she can’t stop thinking about her huge crush on Madeleine, who she definitely can’t tell about her sudden penchant for kleptomania… But does Maddy have secrets of her own? Can they fix the mess of their chaotic personal lives in time to form a normal, teenage relationship? That would be nice.
"An adorable sapphic romance about two teens who steal! Such a sweet and funny story with complex, flawed characters that you can't help but love, along with gorgeous, emotive artwork."

In this irreverent graphic novel, Anna Härmälä offers a darkly humorous and unapologetically honest look at the realities of parenthood and dating.
After being dumped, Mia is officially a single mother. Just when she thinks the dust has settled from her breakup, she’s thrust into a confusing whirlwind of slightly useless friendships, exhaustion, therapy, cathartic playgroup daydreaming sessions, and eventually, the terrifying world of online dating. Anna Härmälä’s semi-autobiographical comic vignettes offer a candid (and often hilarious) portrayal of the ups and downs of single parenthood as she discovers how to piece herself back together while raising a tiny human alone on very little sleep.
"Härmälä
is bitingly funny and visually innovative […] Parents, single and otherwise, will find plenty to laugh about, in solidarity."
- Publishers Weekly
Anna Härmälä grew up in Vantaa near Helsinki and always knew she was going to work in the arts. She studied art and visual communication. She has also written and illustrated several picture books published in Finland and Sweden, and has been head of her school’s art department for more than ten years. She started sharing her comics online to see if they resonated with the experience of other single mothers, but this is her first graphic novel.

A thought-provoking and hilarious romp through time and space from debut creator, Tyrell Waiters, that explores what it means to be human in a world that feels like it's becoming more confusing and frightening by the day.
Totally burnt out, Vern decides to return to his family in Florida to start over. When he starts a new dead-end job as a custodian at Quasar, things aren't entirely what they seem. When Vern accidentally plugs in a mysterious machine and ends up standing on the brink of the destruction of every planet in the Multiverse, he finds himself presented with the greatest question of all: what's the point?
Tyrell Waiters is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer from Palmetto, Florida. After graduating Ringling College of Art and Design, he turned himself to working as an apparel graphic designer for children's clothing. When not working, he's painting in his studio and exploring nature.
