The Hollywood Sign has been there for almost 100 years! Originally, it said “Hollywoodland,” but the letters began to fall apart from neglect. Many famous residents of Los Angeles stepped in to help save the famous letters. Today, the sign just says “Hollywood.” It is now a permanent and well-cared-for part of Los Angeles.
