Frank Mandell

Frank Mandell is an architect–in–training based in New York. He completed his BA at Bard College in 2013, MA at Centre for Research Architecture, Goldsmiths, University of London in 2014, and M.Arch at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in 2020. Frank has previously collaborated with a number of design, arts, and research practices in New York, and most recently worked with 2x4, on the first casino to open on the Las Vegas strip since the financial recession of 2008. His work has been exhibited at exhibitions in London, New York, and Beirut. He is the recipient of several awards, including the Ali Jawad Malik Memorial History/Theory Honor Award, the Buell Center Paris Prize (for the project "Toxic Entanglements"), the Percival and Naomi Goodman Fellowship (for the project "karbonfunkc.io"), and others.
