The technology platform serving the greater Ignite Workforce Initiative

Since its launch in October 2021, the IgniteFMWF platform has played a vital role in our comprehensive workforce initiative. We have actively engaged with the community, listening to workforce needs and making necessary adjustments to meet those demands. Throughout the year, we conducted eight workshops across eight highdemand industries, hosted over 20 training sessions and invested more than 450 hours in individual meetings with users, including educators, businesses, non-profits and government agencies.

Over the past fiscal year, we have worked closely with regional educators to ensure that IgniteFMWF fulfills their needs. In our pursuit of continuous improvement, we are thrilled to announce the implementation of a new and efficient back-end data management system in Q3 of FY 22-23. This significant update streamlines classroom management and assignments, incorporating valuable insights gathered from our collaboration with business members and educators.

Building upon our progress, we have actively engaged with businesses throughout Q2 of FY 22-23, facilitating their smooth onboarding process onto the platform. By tailoring IgniteFMWF to their specific needs, we aim to enhance their experience and unlock the platform’s maximum potential. Our current focus revolves around increasing individual usership, ensuring that more educators and students can benefit from its features. Additionally, we are actively working towards onboarding nonprofit organizations into our regional workforce ecosystem, fostering a collaborative environment for comprehensive workforce development. Here are some exciting statistics highlighting our progress year-to-date compared to Fiscal Year 21-22:

• A remarkable 471% increase in active logins.

• An impressive 291% increase in overall activity.

• A substantial 203% increase in job seeker activity.

• An average of 117 new users per month.
