n Ordinance 2018-761, to rezone 13.75 undeveloped acres of the current 90-acre PUD 20001248 to PUD for 78 townhomes and limited neighborhood commercial uses on two outparcels totaling 3.31 acres in North Jacksonville. The project, named Trafalger, fronts the east side of Starratt Road between Airport Center Drive East and Bonaparte Landing Boulevard. The remaining portion

JEA’s board of directors will consider three development plans for a new corporate headquarters when it meets Feb. 5. The finalists were disclosed at the board’s monthly meeting Tuesday by JEA’s procurement division and CBRE, its real estate firm. JEA narrowed the list from the six submissions it received Jan. 8. The three proposals are: n Becoming the corporate anchor for Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan’s initial phase of development near TIAA Bank Field. n Redeveloping the public utility’s headquarters at 21 W. Church St. by partnering with The Ryan Company. n Relocating to the Downtown Southbank by converting what is now Kings Avenue Station with an office tower, a project lead by KimleyHorn & Associates Inc. The three finalists will make public presentations to the board at a special meeting Feb. 5. The board could select a group and start negotiations or it could push the decision to later in the month. JEA wants to relocate from its 19-story tower and adjacent customer service building at 21 W. Church St. The 57-year-old buildings are outdated, need major repairs and are too big for the 836 employees who work at the corporate office, the util-

The organization wants to complete its $75 million global home in Ponte Vedra Beach in 2020.

The PGA Tour can build its estimated $75 million global home now that St. Johns County approved a building permit Thursday for construction of the 187,000-square-foot headquarters. The facility, at 5420 Palm Valley Road in Ponte Vedra Beach, is scheduled for completion in 2020. The general contractor is listed as Sidney Jordan

of Bethesda, Maryland-based Clark Construction Group LLC. The permit shows a $65 million construction cost for the shell building. Clark Construction Regional Marketing Manager Michelle Casale said the total will be about $75 million. The Jacksonville Planning Commission recommended approval Thursday to rezone 10.67 acres at 5221 University Blvd. W., where RaceTrac wants to build a gas station and conve-

nience store. The property, at northwest University Boulevard and Interstate 95, was rezoned in 2006 to planned unit development for a Home Depot store that was not built. Ordinance 2018-861 seeks to rezone the property to commercial community/general-1 for commercial uses. A companion application for zoning exception E-2018-862 seeks to allow outside seating at the proposed

RaceTrac. Atlanta-based RaceTrac wants to develop on the 1.76-acre site next to Richard Street. Home Depot USA Inc. owns the property and is marketing it for sale. A smaller RaceTrac operates nearby. LAND USE AMENDMENTS, REZONING RECOMMENDATIONS

The planning commission also recommended rezoning approvals for:

Freddy’s property sold at Town Center Promenade TSG Realty bought the Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers property at 4458 Town Center Parkway in Town Center Promenade. TSG Realty bought the site through Blanding Orange Park LLC for $2.285 million. The 1-acre parcel is under a 15-year ground lease to Freddy’s, which opened in September.
