Trevato Development Group’s proposed 427-unit, market-rate apartment community will be a “fresh and modern” replacement for Adventure Landing, real estate attorney Steve Diebenow said June 28. The bankrupt Jacksonville Beach entertainment and water park at 1944 Beach
Blvd. must close by Oct. 31, according to U.S. Bankruptcy Court documents. Diebenow, a partner with the Driver, McAfee, Hawthorne & Diebenow law firm, said after a Jacksonville Beach City Council workshop that it was Trevato’s first effort to formally inform officials and the community about the estimated $80 million development. “The owner acknowledges that this
is a very high-profile piece of property,” Diebenow told the Council. “It will literally be the first thing you see when you come over the Intracoastal … when you’re driving to the east into Jacksonville Beach,” he said. Jacksonville-based AutoQuotes LLC and Boston-based equity firm TA Associates announced June 29 they will form Revalize, a cloud software company headquartered in Jacksonville. Business and city leaders joined
Revalize executives at a news conference at AutoQuote’s Baymeadows office to release details. The company will expand its Jacksonville footprint and create 100 jobs, according to a news release. Revalize CEO Jim Contardi said in an interview the company will partner AutoQuotes with five similar companies to provide
business-to-business supply and revenue management software for manufacturers, component price quotes and data analytics for products such as commercial interior lighting, mechanical equipment and specialized pumps. Contardi, the former AutoQuotes and Avitru chief executive, will lead the company.
Revalize will expand Autoquotes’ offices at 8800 Baymeadows Way by nearly 6,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet, he said. Software Operating Executive Mark Friedman will be Revalize’s chairman. The merger will expand AutoQuotes’ 3,500 corporate customers in North America and the

Permit issued for Walmart Health along Philips The city issued a permit June 25 for construction of a Walmart Health Clinic along Philips Highway, the second primary care center approved for the retailer to add to its Northeast Florida Supercenters. Hutton Construction Co. Inc. of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is the contractor for the $1.02 million project to build-out a 6,510-squarefoot clinic within the Walmart Supercenter at 4250 Philips Highway. Walmart Health offers primary care, urgent care, dental and lab services, There are plans for seven in Northeast Florida.
