RH, previously known as Restoration Hardware, appears to be closer to construction at St. Johns Town Center. The city is reviewing a permit for the store’s foundation construction at 4831 Village Shops Way.
RH was unable to comment. J.E. Dunn Construction of Kansas City, Missouri, is listed as the contractor for the three-story, 48,426-square-foot home furnishings retail store that also will offer a rooftop restaurant and bar. RH is designed as part of the center’s fourth phase at the southeast corner of the property. The RH site is east of the shops that include Tesla and Apple. Parking lot pavement has been removed and the site is fenced. The foundation permit carries a job cost of $150,000. The city was reviewing permit applications for the $18 million construction of the store by other contractors, but

The Law Office of Farah & Farah submitted a building permit application to the city Aug. 4 for a $1.25 million demolition and tenant improvement project on two floors at 100 N. Laura St. Downtown. Partner Eddie Farah said the law firm is growing, so the former gym space at the building will be built-out for offices and the third floor will be modified to allow expansion of the firm’s 24/7 call center. “It’s got really high ceilings and the design will have more of a high-tech look,” Farah said. Floor plans included in the application show 25 offices for attorneys and case managers, open office space, conference rooms, break rooms and storage on the second floor. Another Broken Egg Cafe coming to Atlantic North The city issued a permit Aug. 6 for the Another Broken Egg Cafe in Atlantic North in East Arlington. Advanced Building Specialties of Mississippi Inc. is the contractor for the $557,353 project to build-out 3,300 square feet of space at 11949 Atlantic Blvd., No. 105. The Atlantic North shopping center is at northwest Kernan and Atlantic boulevards. The landlord’s website shows the restaurant at the end of a multitenant building where Fancy Sushi and Verizon Wireless lease space. Another Broken Egg Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and brunch. The shopping center is anchored by Belk, LA Fitness and Academy Sports + Outdoors.
