Company that sells gluten- and dairy-free prepared meals is adding a location in Five Points.
Kathy’s Table, which prepares gluten- and dairy-free meals for delivery and pickup, is adding a Five Points location at 826 Lomax St. in Riverside. The grand opening is Aug. 31 in the location that previously housed Gloss Goods. “We have been wanting a location on the other side of the St. Johns River, and Riverside is a great area to be in right now,” says Dan Godwin, co-owner. The Jacksonville-based Kathy’s Table concept is based at 7035 Philips Highway and has a Beaches location. Kathy’s Table LLC’s corporate managing member is Kathy Godwin. Her husband, Dan God-
win, is manager. He said they expect sales of about $4 million this year. Dan Godwin said the Riverside address was offered soon after they opened the Philips Highway location in February 2016. They weren’t ready to expand at the time. The property manager stayed in touch and told Godwin a few months ago the site would be available, “so I told him we would be interested.” Plans show Kathy’s Table will open in 420 square feet.
