The city approved a permit Aug. 24 for Duos Technologies Group Inc.’s new Jacksonville headquarters space at a cost of $973,229. Emerald C’s Development Inc. will build-out almost 39,000 square feet of space on the first and second floors at 7660 Centurion Parkway, which is the former SuperStock building in Deerwood Park South. The site is about 4 miles east of the current Duos office at 6622 Southpoint Drive S., Suite 310, in Fortune Plaza. Jacksonville-based Duos Tech- Ferry nologies Group announced Aug. 12 that it signed a lease for a new building and will move in this fall, but did not specify where or how large. “We will move in by the end of October,” CEO Chuck Ferry said in a conference call with investment analysts. The company said in a news release that the building is near the company’s current headquarters. Duos spokesperson Fei Kwong said the company has more than 50 employees and will be consolidating from two locations into one. “The new facility will house all staff in one location and has sufficient space for the Company’s anticipated expansion over the next 12 months,” the release said. The city is reviewing building permit applications for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs outpatient clinic and domiciliary in North Jacksonville at a combined construction cost of $64.2 million. The city approved site clearing in December. Indiana-based Meyer Najem Construction LLC is the contractor. Alabama-based Sain Associates is the civil engineer. The 21-acre site is at 15678 Max Leggett Parkway. Permits show a $54 million, two-story, 173,200-square-foot outpatient center and a $10.2 million one-story,

Graham Capital pays $25M for Westside warehouses Graham Capital of Birmingham, Alabama, paid $24.85 million on Aug. 18 for warehouse properties in West Jacksonville. The deeds were recorded Aug. 26 with the Duval County Clerk of Courts. Through JAX Westside Partners LLC, Graham Capital paid $12.85 million for three buildings on 8 acres at 7051 Stuart Ave. and 6982 Highway Ave. Graham bought the property from 7051 Stuart Avenue LLC, led by managing member Samuel Easton. JAX Westside Partners also paid $12 million for two properties at 1550 Ellis Road N. on almost 10.2 acres. That purchase included 7 vacant acres along Ellis Road North. Graham also bought that property from three limited liability companies led by Easton.
