Plymouth Industrial REIT Inc. is designing four new warehouses at two South Jacksonville business parks. Dan Santinga, vice president and regional manager, said Plymouth Industrial intends to build a new dock-high building at Salisbury Business Park and three dock-high buildings at Santinga Liberty Business Park. The properties are near Interstate 95 and Butler Boulevard. The buildings will range from about 40,000 square feet to 52,000 square feet in size. Plymouth Industrial REIT plans to add three buildings of 40,000, 42,000 and 52,000 square feet to the park at Belfort Road and AC Skinner Parkway.
SALISBURY BUSINESS PARK Plymouth Industrial REIT plans to add a 40,000-square-foot building to the site along Salisbury Road in Baymeadows.
The city is reviewing a permit application for Tenant Contractors Inc. to build-out space for IEM Power Systems at NorthPoint Industrial Park at a project cost of $915,364, IEM, an electrical systems manufacturer, will build-out space in the 186,500-squarefoot Building 3 it will lease at 3600 Port Jacksonville Parkway in North Jacksonville. Nelco Architecture Inc. of Tampa is the architect. Tenant Contractors is based in Jacksonville. Pattillo Industrial Real Estate owns NorthPoint Industrial Park. IEM has been leasing at 11902 Central Parkway near the University of North Florida and at 13845 Alvarez Road in Jacksonville International Tradeport. It is expected to move in March. “This new lease allows us to consolidate our Jacksonville operations into one location and support growth through the addition of numerous capabilities,” Tim Ferguson, vice president of operations at IEM, said in a news release in September. “As we are expanding, IEM is seeking to fill a number of jobs in production and engineering.” IEM is a branch of Fremont, California-based Industrial Electric Manufacturing, an independent full-line electrical distribution and power quality equipment manufacturer. Arlington Walgreens adding Village Medical clinic The city issued a permit Nov. 8 for Walgreens to add a Village Medical primary-care clinic to its Arlington pharmacy at 7224 Merrill Road at a cost of $625,000. Pleasant Valley Construction Co. of Medina, Ohio, is the contractor for the 3,277-squarefoot tenant build-out. It is one of five clinics planned by the pharmacy chain in Jacksonville. The permit follows two that were issued Oct. 26 for Walgreens to add Village Medical clinics to its pharmacies in West Jacksonville.
