Jacksonville Jaguars President Mark Lamping told the Downtown Investment Authority Strategic Implementation Committee on Nov. 12 that Jaguars owner Shad Khan plans to build and own a Four Seasons hotel at what is now Metropolitan Park in Downtown Jacksonville.

Lamping made the proposal as the DIA considers a $12.5 million, 20-year Recapture Enhanced Value Grant and development rights for the $450 Lot J mixeduse project west of TIAA Bank Field. Lot J is planned by Khan development company Gecko Investments LLC and Baltimore-based SEE FOUR SEASONS, PAGE 2

Another Broken Egg Cafe to open Another Broken Egg Cafe announced it will open its fourth Jacksonville location Nov. 16 at 11949 Atlantic Blvd., No. 105, in the Atlantic North shopping center, according to FSRMagazine.com. The breakfast and lunch restaurant will operate 7 a.m.-2 p.m. daily and offers a full bar. “Another Broken Egg Cafe has been a huge hit in the Jacksonville area,” said Paul Macaluso, president and CEO of Another Broken Egg of America Franchising LLC, in a news release on the site. Another Broken Egg of America Franchising LLC will own the cafe.
