Tamaya Market corner site sold for Island Wing restaurant
Island Wing Company appears to be building a restaurant at Tamaya Market at Beach and Tamaya boulevards. A JEA report for service availability requests shows Island Wing as a project at 12675 Beach Blvd. The report says the location is a pad-ready site at the corner of the property. Shopping center developer Harbour Retail Partners Management LLC sold property at the site Nov. 12 to OFFI Island Wing Tamaya LLC for $1.75 million. The buyer is based in West Palm Beach. The acquiring LLC is associated with restaurant groups that own Island Wing and other concepts. The Colliers real estate company is marketing and leasing the Tamaya Market shopping center, which is anchored by Sprouts. The site plan shows a vacant pad at the front corner. Colliers Senior Director Nancy Sumner said Nov. 15 that Island Wing Company Grill & Bar chose Tamaya Market for its third Jack-

Build-out approved for BDO’s move to Southbank The BDO Jacksonville tax, assurance and financial advisory services office is moving forward on building-out its new space in Riverplace Tower on the Downtown Southbank. The city issued a permit Nov. 16 for Auld & White Constructors LLC to renovate 14,600 square feet on the ninth floor at the tower at 1301 Riverplace Blvd. at a project cost of $1 million. BDO intends to move in April 2022 from Brooklyn on the Downtown Northbank. Jim White, tax office managing partner in Jacksonville, said the Southbank lease is for 17,501 square feet of space, taking the full ninth floor of the 28-story riverfront tower.
