Eco Relics founders Michael and Annie Murphy say they are testing the real estate market in Jacksonville’s Rail Yard District by advertising their Stockton Street warehouse for lease.
The Murphys contracted real estate brokerage firm Colliers to market the 51,625-square-foot industrial warehouse space at 106 Stockton St. The marketing brochure posted Nov. 22 lists the property for a single-tenant lease at $12 per square foot. However, the Murphys said Nov. 23 they have no plans to sell or move their architectural salvage business at this time. Michael Murphy said Eco Relics’ sales quickly rebounded from a brief pandemic lag in the second quarter of 2020 and its revenue is up 25% year-over-year. The company also will open Airstream of Jacksonville at the Merrill Road site near I-295. RV One and Airstream of Jacksonville are converting a car dealership in Arlington into a superstore. The city approved a permit Nov. 23 for Welday Services Group, of Columbus, Ohio, to renovate the existing building at 8281 Merrill Road at a cost of $1 million. RV One and Airstream of Jacksonville filed plans with the city for a dealership at the address, which is next to Interstate 295. The site originally was developed in 2004 by Crest Automotive Inc. RV Retailer Florida Real Estate LLC of Fort Lauderdale bought the 7.5-acre site for $9 million on June 30. RV Retailer LLC is the applicant. RV One intends to convert the existing automotive sales and service center for RV sales and service. The project includes renovating the building and reworking the parking lot to accommodate RVs. RV One Superstores has 14 dealerships, including six in Florida. It also has Airstream of Tampa.

Arlington Wawa site being cleared Wawa’s new Arlington site can be cleared. The city issued a permit Nov. 21 for ELEV8 Land Clearing & Demolition to demolish the structures and parking lots at 1331 University Blvd. N. at a cost of $94,600. The site has been fenced for some time. Wawa Florida LLC bought the site in March 2020. Wawa Florida LLC paid $3 million for the 1.9-acre site at northeast University Boulevard North and Arlington Road to build a gas station and convenience store. Wawa bought the property from six sellers who each owned parcels that the company assembled for the deal.
