Fans celebrate after the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Carolina Panthers 26-0 on Dec. 31 at EverBank Stadium. It was the last regular-season home game on the schedule, but if the team defeats the Tennessee Titans on Jan. 7 it won’t be final home game as the Jaguars will win the AFC South and host a playoff game.

While the Jaguars are the biggest team in the region, Northeast Florida is home to Triple-A baseball, soccer, ice hockey, arena football teams and more, along with other sporting events. Here’s an update on how they are faring and what is in the pipeline. Page 7
