Catharanthus roseus ‘Jams ‘N Jellie Blackberry’ (Vinca)

Extremely unique, velvety deep purple with white eye flower color will add excitment to summer gardens. This superb accent plant will work beautifully in Americana color schemes and in combination with blue, pink, white or lavender. In some settings, the flower petals appear almost black, making this color a designer’s delight. Easy to grow plants have excellent tolerance to drought and heat. Mature plants will reach 10-14 inches tall making them a perfect medium height divider. The 2-inch flowers are complimented by deep green shiny leaves creating a rich background for the richly dark flowers.

Salvia coccinea ‘Summer Jewel Pink’ and ‘Summer Jewel Red’

Pink: This dwarf sized, compact plant has a prolific bloom count throughout the growing season. As a bonus, the blooms appear almost two weeks earlier than other pink salvias used as comparisons. And of course, the hummingbirds love pink, just as much as they do red! Commercial growers will appreciate the earliness, excellent pack performance and uniformity. Red: Early, easy and compact are the key features that will attract growers to the all-new Salvia coccinea ‘Summer Jewel Red’. In the trials, Fleuroselect judges applauded the earliness of this fast-togrow new variety, earlier and more compact than any dwarf Salvia on the market. In the garden this free-flowering red gem will shine all season long.


Capsicum annum ‘Cayennetta’

Awarded the prestigious All American Selection award, Chilli Pepper ‘Cayenetta’ produces prolific crops of bayonet shaped cayenne peppers with a mildly spicy flavour. British bred for a neat compact habit, this well branched upright variety is ideal for growing in baskets or containers and makes an eye-catching ornamental edible. This superb variety shows excellent tolerance to cold or hot weather, while the dense foliage protects the crop from sun scorch.

Canna x generalis ‘South Pacific Scarlet’

This variety is grown from seed, not tuber. Compact in habit and well suited for both landscape and container use. Canna ‘South Pacific Scarlet’ prefers warm and humid conditions over 77F. This variety is more vigorous, more uniform, and has more basal branching than Canna Tropical Red. It is a close market comparison to ‘Tropical Red,’ ‘Tropical Rose,’ and ‘Tropical Bronze Scarlet.’

Capsicum annum ‘Orange Blaze’

Although colored peppers can be difficult to grow, ‘Orange Blaze’ solves the problem. This variety proved itself a winner in AAS Trialing Grounds across North America due to early maturity, sweet flavor and disease resistance. It matured to a beautiful orange color earlier than the comparisons. Expect very sweet flavor at full orange color about 65-70 days from transplant. ‘Orange Blaze’ produces 3 to 4-inch long fruits about 1 1/2 inches wide with 2-3 lobes. High resistance to diseases Xcv 0-3, 7, 8 -Bacterial Leaf Spot and Tm Po- Tobamovirus ensure a larger harvest. Bred by Seminis/Monsanto.

Gaillardia x grandiflora ‘Arizona Apricot’

Arizona Apricot is a marvel of a plant, its blooms exquisite, its hardiness and adaptability unsurpassed, and its size compact yet free-flowering! It is excellent for sunny border and high visibility containers. Arizona Apricot sets 3- to 3½-inch blooms with several layers of long, pointed petals. Each petal is apricot from the base to about of the way to the tip, which is bright yellow. They petals surround a huge central cone combining amber, gold, and green. The Arizona series is the very first Gaillardia from seed not to require a vernalization period.

Zinnia marylandica ‘Profusion Double Deep Salmon’ and ‘Profusion Double Hot Cherry’ ‘Profusion Double Deep Salmon’ features intensely vibrant, deep pink-orange flowers with double petals. Like other Profusion Zinnias, Deep Salmon flowers continuously from spring through frost and is easy to grow. It is self-cleaning, disease resistant and grows well in a range of climates, including areas with high night temperatures. The flowers can grow 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter and plants grow 14 inches tall and 24 inches wide.

‘Profusion Double Hot Cherry’ features rich rose, double petalled blooms which cover flower continuously from spring through frost. The bright color does not fade, even under high temperatures. Like all Profusion, ‘Double Hot Cherry’ is also easy to grow as it is self-cleaning, disease resistant and grows well in a wide range of climates, including areas with high night temperatures. The flowers can grow 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter and plants grow 8 to 14 inches tall and 24 inches wide.


Tagetes erecta ‘Christy Orange,’ and ‘Christy Yellow,’

Christy Yellow and Orange are compact, tidy plants with double flowers. With outstandingly bright flowers above deep green foliage, they are highly uniform with stong necks enabling easy transportation. ‘Christy’ has tube shaped, tightly clustered petals and is suitable for pots, bedding and landscapes.

Tagetes erecta ‘Narai Orange’ and ‘Narai Yellow’

Bred under hot and humid conditions, ‘Narai Yellow’ are extremely strong and have stiff stems producing large and bushy plants. They are very suitable for cut flower vase and bouquet production. Plants produce many firm and large flowers and are also suitable for garland production.

Tagetes erecta ‘Bali Yellow,’ and ‘Bali Orange’

‘Bali’ is bred and tested under tropical conditions and is excellent for cut flower production with high yields. It has been known to produce over 100 flowers per plant. Plants are strongly branched with round and firm flowers and will not fall over during heavy rain.


Angelonia angustifolia ‘AngelMist™ Spreading Dark Purple’

AngelMist is a more vigorous angelonia, ideal for large mixed containers. The most angelonia colors and habits, including NEW Dark Rose Improved with true rose color and better habit to match the series. Peak performers in every sunny setting. AngelMist Angelonia display orchid like flowers on lush plants. This tough garden plant thrives in heat and is easy to grow. No need to prune or deadhead. Hardy until frost. This variety is very heat tolerant and accepting of very wet or very dry soil, attracts butterflies, has significant drought tolerance, and scented foliage.

Bidens ferulifolia ‘Sun Drop’

Sun Drop has a compact habit, ideal for 4-in. (10-cm) pots. It is densely branched and requires only one pinch in finishing. This early-flowering variety has exceptionally large blooms and superior flower coverage. Compact, densely branched variety is ideal for pot-tight production. It can be produced cool.

Brachyscome hybrida ‘Radiant Magenta’

The brightest magenta brachyscome on the market, with superior iron uptake for healthier plants and dark green foliage. Makes a great gift item. Compact variety is excellent for pot-tight production, with no PGRs or pinching required. Best for 4 to 6-in. (10 to 15-cm) pots and gallons.

Lantana camara ‘Little Lucky Red’

Uniform across all colors; great for bench runs and pot-tight production. Up to 3 three weeks earlier than other compact lantanas on the market. Low-maintenance variety has long flowering into Summer with low seed set. Perfect for 4.5-in. (11-cm) programs.

Petunia x hybrida ‘ChaChing Cherry’; Petunia x hybrida ‘Rose and Shine’

Stunning, high-impact colors keeps registers ringing! Newcomers time right along with other novelty petunias. Growerfriendly, mounding plants – they’re most like Pinstripe in habit.

Salvia splendens ‘Hi Gro Purple’

Big, bold color for mass plantings. Long blooming season-continuous color. Large plants provide “curb appeal” for commercial gardens. 12 to 18” spikes on 24 – 34” plant. Companion to HiGro Red Salvia.

Petunia x hybrida ‘Lo Gro Deep Pink’

Large 3 ½ to 5-inch flowers on very compact plants even at full maturity. LoGro stays short 3-5” and grows tight even at full maturity without the heavy PGR treatments needed by all other grandiflora petunias. A nice addition to the existing series.

Petunia x hybrida ‘GL Trellis Deep Pink’

Another great petunia improvement. Upright growing and aggressive. Makes tons of flowers on plants that lend themselves to trellis production. The only petunia on the market that can grow in this way.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Lemon Ice’

This is an exclusive variety from Bates Sons and Daughters. Lemon Ice has mottled chartreuse leaves and is striking in the shade. It has proven to be very popular with garden centers because of the unusual color combination.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Dumbo’

This is an exclusive variety from Bates Sons & Daughters. Dumbo looks like a small Alocasia with distinct white veins. It performs well in sun or shade.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Wildfire’

This is an exclusive variety from Bates Sons and Daughters. It has a pink center, light pink veins, red spots, and a large green border. Release date is set for 2015. Appears to be sun tolerant but testing is still in progress.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Cherry Tart’

A UF patented variety. Cherry Tart is a sun tolerant strap leaf caladium. The color is between Sweetheart and Red Ruffles- a true pinkish red. It is short- up to 12” maximum and would be a good border plant.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Garden White’

A UF patented variety. Garden White is a sun tolerant caladium with solid white leaves. It maintains the white color even in FL full sun conditions. The leaves are enormous and the plant can grow up to 3 feet tall.

Petunia x hybrida ‘Surfinia Compact Purple’

Surfinia petunias bloom continuously all season long, and they hold up well even in wind, rain and summer heat. The first cross of a wild petunia and a propagated seed hybrid, Surfinia petunias are number one in Europe, where brilliant cascades fall from window boxes everywhere. Not only attractive to the human eye, but to birds, butterflies, and hummingbirds as well. Height 6-10”, full sun. Heat tolerant.

Calibrachoa ‘Million Bells Crackling Fire’

Calibrachoa has not been a part of our industry for very long; the first plants were taxonomically described in 1989 and the first cultivars released in 1992. The original plants were found in coastal areas clinging to rocks and surviving in some pretty harsh conditions, they so much resembled Petunias that they were originally referred to as ‘Seashore Petunias’. Since their release in the early 90’s this crop has grown faster than most other genera and become a major crop in its own right. The family tree of this genus reaches deep down into Latin America; almost all species can be found in either in Argentina, Brazil, or Uruguay. There are about 25 known species of this plant and the breeding of Calibrachoa is a complicated matter. A profusion of bright orange and yellow striped blooms on a more upright habit, low maintenance; deadheading is not necessary.

Scaevola aemula ‘Surdiva White’ and ‘Surdiva Blue’

Scaevola Surdiva™ White is an attractive Australian native with large flowers appearing from early in the season. This compact ground cover has a superior branching habit and full flower and foliage coverage. Requiring only occasional pruning Scaevola Surdiva™ White is a low maintenance plant suited to well-drained soil or potting mix. Fertilise lightly in spring with a native plant fertiliser. Garden beds and borders, pots and hanging baskets.


Mandevilla ‘Sun Parasol White Original’

Sun Parasol® White Original group has a habit with compact growth, which is upright with good basal branching, they are natural climbers with glossy green foliage, neat and excellent garden performance, suitable as a patio, hanging, balcony, and bedding plant. It is heat tollerant and best used if provided a structure to climb.

Mandevilla ‘Sun Parasol Garden Crimson’

Sun Parasol® Garden Crimson is the beginning of an exciting new series of mandevilla hybrids from Suntory® Collection. The first bedding plant mandevillas are deep red, naturally compact and look exquisite in planted landscapes. They are typically bred in 4-inch pots.They are known for ease of growing and higher disease resistance.

Rosa hybrid ‘Sunrosa Red’ and ‘Sunrosa Yellow’

Sunrosa™ roses are an exciting new series from the Suntory® Collection. Sunrosa™ roses are beautiful, compact and bushy. They are highly disease resistant with low maintenance and long flowering period. Due to their compact habit, Sunrosa™ is ideal for small to medium landscape spaces and patio containers. They need less pruning than typical shrub roses, and due to their high disease resistance, are easy to care for. Sunrosa Red is a true red compact shrub rose. It is ideal for small gardens, front borders, patio pots and much more. Sunrosa Red has intense red, double blooms with a mild tea rose fragrance. Sunrosa Yellow begin as coral buds, then open as soft yellow semidouble blooms with a faint coral blush overlay.

Bougainvillea hybrid ‘Sunvillea Rose’ and ‘Sunvillea Pink’

Sunvillea™ is a very compact series of bougainvillea. Sunvillea™ bougainvilleas debuted in the United States at the Tropical Plant Industry Exposition in Ft. Lauderdale. Plants will grow to a maximum height of two to three feet. Sunvillea Rose is a deep pink, almost a magenta in color. Sunvillea Pink produces light pink blooms.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Fireworks’

Attractive fancy leaf variety with dark green background and border variously marked with dark red splotches which often coalesce into dark red shiny areas that may cover more than 50% of the leaf. Main veins are red.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Raspberry Moon’

A fancy-leaf variety with a light green/yellow background and features blotches of dark green and raspberry pink to red blotches which can cover up to 70%+ of the leaf. Suited for pots 6” and larger, Should be de-eyed to improve pot habit. In the landscape it can take full sun and reaches heights of more than 18”.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Creamsickle’

Caladium ‘Creamsickle’ PAF is a white and burnt orange fancy-leaved introduction. Creamsickle is truly a new look in caladiums. Hybridized with the orange variety, Twist N Shout™, Creamsickle retained the burnt orange leaf pattern but has contrasting white center and veins. Creamsickle should be deeyed to intensify its color and improve habit and is suitable for pots 6” and larger. Creamsickle grows fast and has very short pot crop time. In the landscape it is an intermediate to tall caladium and should be used in partially sunny locations. Because of its parentage it should tolerate full sun but this is yet to be determined.


Caladium x hortulanum ‘Celebration’

Caladium ‘Celebration’ PAF is a white fancy-leaved introduction. Celebration has white windows that contrast nicely with its red veins and green margins. Celebration is upright in habit, intermediate in stature and makes nice 6-10” pots with de-eyeing. Celebration prefers partially sunny locations in the landscape.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Rosemary’

Rosemary Caladium is a rose red lance-leaved (strap) variety with a mottled light and dark green boarder. Rosemary is intermediate in habit and can stand full sun in the landscape. Rosemary makes a very nice 4” and large pot and should be de-eyed. It has a very short crop time, similar to Red Frills.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘White Diamond’

White Diamond is a short to intermediate white lance-leaf (strap) variety. White Diamond displays a nice full mounding habit with or without de-eyeing in 6” and larger pots. De-eyed plants are more compact with more and smaller leaves. White Diamond is very similar to Jackie Suthers but without Jackie’s tendency to blush. White Diamond finishes approximately one week faster than Jackie and is among the fastest caladium varieties. In the landscape White Diamond can take full sun.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Roseglow’

Rose Glow is a fancy-leaf hybrid that is similar the commercial variety Rosebud which is disappearing due to production problems. Rose Glow has better yields for the producer and a similar color pattern except for having a white dot where the petiole connects to the leaf blade. Further, as Rose Glow matures, leaves develop white main veins which contrast well with its pink/rose background. Suited for pots 6” and larger, Rose Glow should be deeyed to improve pot habit. In the landscape it can take full sun and reaches heights of 12”-18”.


Agastache hybrid ‘Acapulco Deluxe Yellow’ and Agastache hybrid ‘Acapulco Deluxe Chiffon’

Multiple spikes of tubular flowers adorn plants from summer until frost, attracting both hummingbirds and butterflies. Agastache is droughttolerant and thrives in summer heat. Use as a filler in the border or as a cheerful upright element in containers, and in landscape plantings. The foliage has a lovely citrusy fragrance. Agastache is a genus of about 30 aromatic species native to central and eastern Asia, Mexico, and the United States. Offering exceptional garden performance and a long season of bloom and thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, they happily shrug off summer heat and early frosts.

Angelonia angustifolia ‘Actor Lavender Blue’ and Angelonia angustifolia ‘Actor White’ Angelonia is a genus of almost 30 species native to South America. The species Angustifolia or hybrids have become a large percentage of any spring production over the past 15 years. This is particularly true in the warmer regions. Angelonia’s attributes are recognized in containers, window boxes or as a performing component in the landscape with its striking colors, height and drought & heat tolerance.

Petunia x hybrida ‘Blanket Double Rose’ Petunia x hybrida ‘Blanket Violet’ Petunia x hybrida ‘Blanket Lemon Glow’ Petunia x hybrida ‘Blanket Double Chardonnay’ Petunia x hybrida ‘Blanket Rose Improved’ This series of Petunia ‘blankets’ containers or landscape beds with an abundance of color. The Blanket® Petunias true value is in the landscape performance. The smaller-sized flowers are self-cleaning and will weather heat, humidity and rain maintaining its tidy appearance.


Ipomoea batatas ‘Sweet Georgia Bullfrog’

The Sweet Georgia™ Series was selected for improved color and growth habit compared to existing series on the market. The Sweet Georgia™ series has a compact growing habit and is excellent for small containers, with the advantage being in mixed containers since they will not overtake other plant material. In the landscape, this series will maintain a mounded habit reaching 24 to 30 inches in diameter. Odema will appear on Ipomoea foliage, like Ivy Geraniums, when internal cell pressure bursts from high humidity. Rapid and large changes in temperatures and humidity will cause Odema. Keep humidity and temperatures stable along with good air movement around plants will also help control this problem.

Scaevola aemula ‘Scampi Blue’ and Scaevola aemula ‘Scampi White’

A sprawling evergreen perennial with ascending and/or procumbent stems. It typically grows to 9-18” tall and spreads to 24” wide. It thrives in hot, humid climates where it produces a non-stop bloom of dark blue fan-shaped flowers in the leaf axils on trailing stems throughout summer to first frost. Lanceolate to obovate, toothed green leaves (to 2” long). A tender perennial, its typically grown as an annual for hanging baskets, containers, window boxes, bedding or sprawling over a wall.


Petunia x hybrida ‘Limbo GP Plum’ Petunia x hybrida ‘Limbo GP Rose’ Petunia x hybrida ‘Limbo GP Salmon’ Petunia x hybrida ‘Limbo GP Red’ Petunia x hybrida ‘Limbo GP White’ Petunia x hybrida ‘Limbo GP Blue’

Limbo is the only natural dwarf non-stretching grandiflora Petunia on the market. This unique petunia series has proven to be of great value to growers, retailers and consumers. Ruellia simplex ‘Mayan Purple’

Ruellia simplex ‘Mayan Purple’ ‘Mayan Purple’ blooms continually with bright purple blooms, is tolerant to heat, and both dry and wet soils. It does better in full sun, but is tolerant of partial shade. It is sterile like Ruellia ‘Purple Showers’, therefore it won’t be invasive through seed dispersal. Caladium x hortulanum ‘Strawberry Star’

A patented full sun tolerant Caladium variety. It has bright white leaves with large red squares interspersed in the leaf. It is fast growing and has large leaves.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Blizzard’

This is a patented large leaf white variety which performs well in partial shade. It is called a “reverse white” because it has white veins, not green veins, like White Christmas or Candidum. Fast growing, tall, and striking in the shady landscape.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Royal Flush’

This variety is a patented fancy sun tolerant variety. It is red with a green bordersimilar to Freida Hemple but performs beautifully in FL full sun conditions. It reaches 14-16” in height.


Caladium x hortulanum ‘Red Ruffles’

This is a patented full sun strap variety. It has glossy red leaves in the sun and deep red leaves in the shade. It works well in hanging baskets, mass plantings, or border plantings.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘White Butterfly’

This is a patented striking white strap. It has a solid creamy white leaf in partial shade. The height is 8-10” and it performs well in hanging baskets and border plantings.

Caladium x hortulanum ‘Sweetheart’

This is a patented full sun strap variety. In the full sun, it has rosy pink leaves. In the shade, it has light pink leaves. It works well in hanging baskets, mass plantings, or border plantings.

This newly released eye-catching variety has deep burgundy colored veins contrasting against a brilliant, lime green background. Features an upright habit and grows well in sun or shade.
