Seize the Momentum at The Landscape Show Momentum is building at The Landscape Show! FNGLA’s signature business event for Florida’s $15.32 billion nursery and landscape, The Landscape Show takes place September 25-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Bringing 6,500 industry professionals together to do business, learn from one another and enhance industry professionalism, this year’s event is especially significant as Florida’s economic recovery takes off, supplies are needed and new people have joined the industry. The Landscape Show offers the momentum for business success today and the years ahead. The location for this year’s event has changed! The show takes place in the South concourse of the North/South building of the convention center, facing International Drive. The Hilton Orlando serves as the new headquarters hotel for The Landscape show, with a walkway from the hotel to the convention center. The Hilton is the location of the Opening Reception on Thursday evening. It’s an election year and political insights abound at The Landscape Show. Industry professionals can take advantage of the complimentary Opening Session on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. We will provide Election Year Insights from Tallahassee political insiders Jim Spratt, Screven Watson and David Johnson, each a well-known person of influence within political circles. The Farm Credit/Ag Institute Candidates’ Forum also takes center stage at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday as gubernatorial and the other Florida Cabinet candidates present their platforms on agriculture. The audience will include individuals from all facets of Florida’s agriculture community. This is a luncheon and ticketed event. Local and international experts share valuable techniques and know-how related to landscape design, landscape operation efficiencies, nursery production, pest management, and garden center operations. In addition, on-going exhibitor presentations take place at the show’s Solutions Center and feature industry hot-topics, issues and trends. Arrive a day before the show opens on Wednesday, September 24 to take in a pre-show workshop or nursery production tour via The Knowledge College.
