FNGLA’s Floriculture Field Days: A Must Attend Event! Come see what’s new! Fourteen breeders from across the country will showcase over 140 new floriculture plant varieties at FNGLA’s 2013 Floriculture Field Days. Held May 14 & 15 at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and in conjunction with the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival, the conference is a well-balanced blend of educational sessions from top-notch speakers and a chance to touch and feel the new plants the nation’s top breeders are introducing into the Florida market. Trial gardens have been planted at Epcot, University of Florida’s Orange County Extension office and Harry P. Leu Gardens to provide industry members a chance to see how these new varieties will hold up to Florida’s heat and humidity in different environments. See what survives and what thrives. Find new varieties that will make your landscape pop! Breeder representatives will be on-hand to interact with attendees and provide individualized information on their plants & products. Get the most out of your time in Orlando. Plan to come in on Monday, May 13th and attend a pre-conference tour. The pre-conference tour will stop at Harry P. Leu Gardens; Orange County Extension Services’ new garden and finish up at Universal Studios for a tour and dinner with local FNGLA members. It is a great time to visit some of Orlando’s finest gardens and network with fellow conference attendees.
