BLUES EXPLOSION

ALBERT CASTIGLIA NYC-born and Miami-raised bluesguitar slinger Castiglia hit the music scene in 1990 while still in his early 20s. A few years after that debut, Junior Wells hired Castiglia. Since that auspicious start, the now-47-year-old singer-guitarist has jammed with the likes of Billy Boy Arnold, Pinetop Perkins and Ronnie Earl and released eight albums replete with originals and tasty covers by predecessors T-Bone Walker, Robert Nighthawk and Peter Green. 10 p.m. Friday, May 19, Mojo Kitchen, Jax Beach, $15, mojobbq.com.
