Bollywood is cliched and we lobe it!

Bollywood is clichéd and we love it! We Indians are passionate about certain things in our lives, to start with Cricket, Religion, Food, Freebies, and of course Bollywood. Our movies are full of emotions galore and the characters just can’t present a situation with out needless exaggeration. Bollywood was born in 1913 with the release of first full-length feature film “Raja Harishchandra”. It was a silent film …yea you read it right, without any dialogues!! Also it was a huge commercial success. Who could imagine then, that years later, a typical Bollywood movie would be incomplete without famous and clicheé d dialogues like –“Mere Pas maahai” or “Bhagwanmainetujhseaajtakkuchnahi manga”!! These dialogues are hilarious and no matter how much we ridicule many such instances in our movies, yet each one of us find the movies to be inherent part of our lives. When "Jab We Met" was released, every other girl saw in herself, a glimpse of Geet, thefemale protagonist of the blockbuster. She was funny, girl-next-door and fiery- pretty much that any girl could relate to. Bollywood has definitely come a long way in which the characters of the movies are portrayed. Girls in yesteryears used to be a Damsel in distress by shrugging off the trouble from the ruffians but girls don’t refrain themselves any longer- if Sanjana (Katrina Kaif) of Welcome is strong enough to rescue Akshay Kumar from a burning building; so is Taani (Anushka Sharma) from Rab ne bana di Jodi who chases the Sturdy Tiny on a bike and displays utmost physical feat through gravity defying stunts. “Ladkikinamein hi uskihaanhai”[sic] is another nail in the coffin of Bollywood clicheé s, as it totally justifies inappropriate advances by roadside creeps towards the girls. How many girls would agree to the fact, that a guy can sweep them off their feet by such things, is a million dollar http://www.follo.in

question. However most of us chuckled while watching the flight scene in the Movie Haddkar di aapne when Govinda tries to win Rani’s heart by inappropriately touching her. Basically HaseetohPhasee still works in our movies!! Perversion triumphs all odds in Bollywood love stories with cheesy pick up lines used by our heroes.

But no matter how clicheé d these dialogues and situations are, they are definitely a great source of entertainment. Follo.in- India's only celebrity connect platform, not only offers us all about such movies and actors but also offers a perfect blend of Non-Stop Bollywood gossip, drama, behind the scenes, glamour with STAR BUZZ, exclusive celebrity styles and dressing with STAR SHOP, endless fun and bone tickling excitement with STAR QUIZ and exclusive one-to-one interviews and secrets of celebs unveiled with HOT ON FOLLO. As much as we love watching movies, so do the actors and actresses.Be it a mindless comedy like Mastizaade that was full of double meaning innuendos, and ironically is more cringe worthy to the audience than to the movie’s director himself or an interminable romance saga like Mohabbatein that is quiet a thing to make one n all grit their teeth; our love for our Bollywood stars doesn’t seem to http://www.follo.in

fade. We idolize these movie stars and there are enough number of memes on Rajnikant and enough number of followers on SonamKapoor’sInstagram handle to prove that. Be it a breaking news about our favorite Bollywood actors that we can find on B20 or exclusive and glamorous photosthat we can find under FEATURED GALLERY, or editorials and opinions under BOLLY MASALA, Follo.in has it all. If you loved the look of Katrina Kaif dressed up in an embellished chiffon saree inSingh is Kinghor our very own Desi Girl PeeCee in halter dresses of 'Dostana' or the antique and traditional styles donned by Dippy in Sanjay LeelaBhansali's 'Ramleela' or the low cut blouses and glam dresses of Bebo or the fashionistaSonamKapoor, then you can find it all on STAR SHOP. And how can we forget songs in our movies. The “so called playback singer” comment used for LataMangeshkar, in reference to the Tanmay Bhatt episode, though infuriated a lot of Indians but playback singer is certainly a term not known to the Westerners. It is these playback singers who add another facet of next- level singing abilities, to the already bejeweled personality of our heroes and heroines who are either the most handsome and intelligent guys to be around or the most beautiful, intelligent yet kind girl to date. So be it KavitaKrishnamuthy, Jawed Ali, DalerMehandi, Leslie Lewis or the likes of other background artists like Terence Lewis et all..find them all on HOT ON FOLLO section.
