Speaker for Today Rev Dr Bernard Chao is a lecturer in Practical Theology at Trinity Theological College. Bernard is an ordained elder of The Methodist Church in Singapore (Trinity Annual Conference) and has been a Methodist pastor since 2005. He also serves as Associate Brigade Chaplain of The Boys’ Brigade in Singapore.

TTC (Trinity Theological College) Sunday TTC was founded in 1948. It was during the Second World War that missionaries interned at Changi Prison envisioned the establishment of a union college which was later given its present name. Through the support of partner-churches, friends and donors, TTC continues to fulfill her mission of “equipping the saints and engaging the world” (Ephesians 4:12, 13). 信息笔记 SERMON NOTES 经文Scripture Deuteronomy 6:1-9 日期 Date 10/10/2021 Sermon Notes & Questions : The Ministry of the Family Ministry Principle No. 1 We disciple our children by first learning to obey, living in obedience, and leading by modelling faithfulness. QUESTIONS: How is your faith? How is your walk with our Lord Jesus? What are you modelling? Family Ministry Principle No. 2 Discipling our children involves the intentional transmission of faith with the whole of our lives, the whole of the time. QUESTION: Will you take responsibility for and plan intentionally how you as parents or you as a faith community will transmit the faith, not just on Sundays, not just at church programs, but all of the time? Family Ministry Principle No. 3 Discipleship happens in each generation, and with each person, when they choose to trust, love, and obey God, for themselves. QUESTIONS: To those who are children, teenagers, or on the cusp of adulthood: Have you intentionally chosen for yourself? Have you forgotten what you chose some time ago?
