Pray that Breakthrough brothers will continue to walk in the Lord’s righteousness and in His Will. Pray for a pure heart and to lead us to stay away from evil things, to continue to face all the uncertainties and challenges of the future, and I all kinds of adversity, we can rely on the Lord to be strong. Pray we will firmly grasp onto the Lord’s promise, to allow our lives to always reveal the beauty and goodness of the Lord, to constantly desire His words, to love Him and love others, support each other, so that our lives can live out the glory and beauty of the Lord.

Thank God for the work He has been doing in the hearts and loves of students in the DTS (Discipleship Training School , a 6-month live learning programme that I am currently a staff of). Pray that all of us continue to grow in intimacy with the Father. I will be co-leading a team of 3 staff and 5 students to Mongolia and Turkey mid May and mid July. Pray for: tender hearts to receive gospel and open doors to bring the good news, unity in our team, safety in foreign lands, health (no COVID), and trust that God will provide for us financially. Pray that I will recognise the Lord’s hand in all that He’s doing in and through my life, and that I will trust fully to my protector and provider.
JANE LIM (INTERSERVE) 1. 2.
Pray that HOPE School will be able to meet our hiring needs for the new school year. We will still have a rather high number of vacancies. Pray for likeminded-ness and unity among school staff within our campuses and across both campuses (we have one in Phnom Penh and one in Siem Reap).
Prayer Requests from FMC Missionaries (April 2022) CHIN KHENG BOON (CRU) 1. THANKSGIVING – Singapore Bible College (SBC) has accepted my application to study for a Master in Biblical Studies (MABS) starting in July 2022. The Dean has also waived off one year or bridging course to allow me to complete the MABS in 2 years instead of 3 years as a diploma holder. Thank God for the favour and that I will be ready to embark on studying two years in SBC. 2. My wife and I are also taking up a new role to lead a small group of couples after every Sunday Mandarin service. Pray that my wife and I will have the wisdom to adapt to the new routines on the home front and serve in church and when my study in SBC kicks in. 3. I am tasked to coordinating the Cru Singapore 50 Years Celebration (internal celebration for the Cru staff) on 21st June. This is my last project with Cru Singapore before I leave for theological equipping. Pray for wisdom to coordinate this project. TAN YI WEI (Cru) 1.

Myanmar digital mission trip (13 – 15 Apr). Pray for my team of six to have wisdom to prepare and teach the Bible stories (in Mandarin) and simple English lessons for children from two student centres. The kids to be encouraged by God and pre believers receptive to the gospel. Teachers have wisdom to translate well when needed. Smooth internet connection because we are conducting through Zoom. When electricity is cut off, the generator works well. I am facilitating a weekly mum’s group in Marine Parade. We have been doing book study ‘ Shepherding a child’s heart’. Praying for us mothers to know God’s heart in parenting. God will refresh us daily with His word and use us to reach out/bless other mothers. I need strength, grace and joy as I manage work and family. Thank God Jingen and I recovered from COVID in March this year.
Prayer Requests from FMC Missionaries (April 2022) DAVID LANG (SBC) 1. 1. 2.
Thank God for seeing us through the past few months with Justina in NUH and her “ homegoing”. The grace extended to me at SBC for not “fully functioning”, the support and encouragement we received from so many. Pray for us as we try to cheer Titus, he certainly missed his sister and is less jovial. Pray for effectiveness as we continue to minister to others, teaching at SBC, supporting families with special needs person and also preaching in various churches.
KUEK CHUNG LEE (NAVIGATORS) 1.
2. 3.
For strength, protection and wisdom as the Church Discipleship Ministry team plans and executes Season 2 of the Online Disciple Making Community (ODMC), an online platform for church pastors and teachers from four different countries to be equipped as they learn from one another, be encouraged and affirmed as disciple makers. Pray that the participants of the ODMC will faithfully apply what they have learnt in their various ministry contexts to raise labourers in the harvest field. Covet prayers for each of my pre-believing siblings and their family members to have a life changing encounter with our living Lord and know Him personally as their Saviour and Lord.
KWOK SIEW HWEE & THAM WEN CHEN (FES & FMC) 1. 2. 3.
Thank God for the good rapport and interaction with tertiary students. Pray that these youths will continue to be open in sharing their lives, as well as open in receiving biblical counsel and guidance. As COVID restrictions relax, please pray for me (XiuHui) to have the energy to keep up with the numerous activities and day camps lined up in the upcoming holidays. Pray for us that we can continue to find time amidst our very different schedules to spend quality and meaningful time with the children, helping them build personal relationships with God.

Discussion Questions on Love Pays Attention Scripture Text: Acts 3:1-10 1.
How does a spiritual community in Christ look like to you? What do they do? Why do they do what they do?
2.
What is the undeniable mark of a Christian?
3.
Do you believe that God loves you even though there are times when He seems silent and distant? In those times, do you think He has forgotten you?
4.
Love requires us to pay attention to one another. What are the barriers stopping us from paying attention to each other in love? In our family? In our workplaces?
5.
What are some ways we can direct others to see God’s love? What do you think is the most effective way of showing and directing others to God’s love for them?
