PRAYER REQUESTS FROM FMC MISSIONARIES
David Lang
1. July 2024 marks the 40th year of leaving the secular job for full-time theological study and ministry. We thank God for his grace and goodness these 40 years. Pray that we will continue to serve him joyfully and faithfully.
2. Pray for strength and good health for Loo Geok, David, and our helper, Shwe. Pray that Titus's seizures can be better controlled. Titus has been going to the hospital fortnightly for blood tests to adjust his seizure medications.
3. Pray for wisdom and effectiveness for David in teaching and mentoring SBC students, and in his preaching and teaching among the churches.

1. For The Residents
• Renewed Hope and Purpose: Pray that each person discovers a renewed sense of purpose and hope, seeing themselves as valuable and loved by God.
• Freedom from Guilt and Shame: Pray that they experience freedom from the guilt and shame often associated with addiction and receive God’s grace and forgiveness.
2. For Staff
• Wisdom and Discernment: Pray that God grants them wisdom, patience, and compassion as they support and guide those in rehabilitation.
• Protection and Encouragement: Pray for protection against burnout and discouragement. Ask God to fill them with joy, peace, and encouragement as they serve.
3. For the Ministry’s Leadership
• Vision and Guidance: Pray that the leadership seeks and follows God’s guidance in all decisions, staying true to their mission and vision.
• Financial Provision: Pray for the financial resources needed to sustain and expand the ministry’s infrastructure in the new facility, implementation of new vocational training programme for the residents and the construction of 2 new 2-storey buildings (Chapel cum Multi-Purpose Hall and Central Kitchen).

Poh Siok Ching
1. Pray for wisdom and strength to complete this semester’s assignment.
2. Pray for job stability for Kingston.
3. Pray that Jaden can be diligent in his studies.

1. Pray for John as he works on analyzing the research and writing the dissertation.
2. Pray for Jessie, Jason and Joash as they await the next steps in their future career.
3. Pray that God will provide all the financial resources.
Kwok Siew Hwee
1. Elias' PSLE is over, we thank God for His protection and help during this period. Pray also for God's leading and guidance, to a secondary school suitable for him as he embarks on a new journey next year.
2. It has been challenging trying to balance studies and work at the same time. Pray for good learning and productivity both in the area of work and homework.
3. Thank God for the Bible Camp that took place in October. The poly students had good learning and were encouraged and inspired to read the Bible more deeply.
Kuek Chung Lee
1. Pray for all the participants of our training program in the Disciple Making Learning Community to deepen in their vision for disciple making, sharpen in their skills, and be committed to apply the lessons that they learn from each session.
2. Pray for an Anglican Church whose leaders we have had the privilege to train that they will facilitate their mentoring groups in the coming months with wisdom and diligence and their group members to be spiritually hungry and faithful learners.
3. Pray for each of my siblings and their families to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord.
PRAYER REQUESTS FROM FMC MISSIONARIES
Chin Kheng Boon
1. Continual adjustment to the NUS Cru ministry as the new staff team leader (pertaining to frequent nights ministry with training and meeting students).
2. Wisdom and boldness to innovate evangelistic strategies and relevant training to equip NUS students to share their faith.
3. Raising $6K for NUS Cru ministry to fund internship programs for two NUS graduates for 3-5 months in Jan-May 2025.
4. For favourable sleep test result (follow up from post sleep apnea surgery) when I meet my doctor on 24 Oct to conclude if I should pursue further medical means to completely heal from my sleep apnea condition.
Tan Yiwei
1. I will be leading a mission trip to Cambodia in November 20-23-2024. There will be 6 adults and 6 children (ages 6-11) participating in this mission trip. We will journey 2-3 hrs from Phnom Penh airport to Kampong Thom. Pray for quick adjustments to the new culture, people, food and hostel stay. Our kids can be picky sometimes! Please pray for good health, safety and God’s protection over our team throughout the trip.
2. My team will reach out to 48 students studying English in the school, 12 mothers and some patients at the clinic. There will be translation for all the sessions and dormitory visit. Please pray recipients can understand everything clearly. Most importantly, they can know God more.
3. "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer" Romans 12:12. Thankful to God that this verse gave us much encouragement and comfort in this season of life. Please pray we will continue to be anchored in God and His Word.
Siong Min who is doing internship at SUTD Christian Fellowship
1. Thank God for an encouraging start to the new school semester, with many new students joining for CF regularly. Pray for students to keep growing in their knowledge and love for Jesus through our weekly bible studies in Mark’s gospel.
2. Pray for wisdom and faithfulness as I meet 3 girls from CF one-to-one to read the Bible together every week, to point them to Christ as I journey with them in their Christian walk.

3. Pray that I will not be caught up in the busyness of ministry, but to be spending time to reflect on the truths in God’s word each day, and finding rest in them.
Ji Feng & Grace who are making regular trips to Batam
1. Pray for the church and family outreach ministry in the Batam Grace Church.
2. Pray for the Seniors Fellowship of Batam Grace Church to hold an evangelistic meeting in March or April 2025. Pray for the speaker Pastor Lee Boon Hua.
3. Pray for the pastors, preachers, members and their mission's ministry, as well as the financial needs of Grace Church in Batam.
