From Kindergarten to Childcar e 80% of Preschools in Singapore operates as ‘Childcare’ and Singaporeans/PRs enjoy monthly subsidy of $150 (6-hour half day) or $300 (12-hour full day). Subsidy do not apply to Kindergartens
FMC Kindergarten is missing out the SG/PR segment We discussed with various partners and decided on working with Little Olive Tree, who shares the same faith and vision. We will also offer Montessori as an enrichment Our kindergarten is renamed ‘Little Olive Tree (FMC Farrer Park) effective January 2024
Key Milestones 12 Jul - Methodist Preschool Services (MPS) informed FMC of its intent to cease FMC kindergarten
24 Sep - LCEC decided to take back FMC Kindergarten operations 12 Oct – Decision to convert to childcare and MOU with Little Olive Tree (Shared identity model) 26 & 31 Oct - LCEC approved playground and preschool renovation works costing ~$150k after grant

Marketing & Comms Immediate Goals: Raise awareness of LOT FMC Farrer Park preschool services and value proposition and attract interested parents with the promise of affordable, quality preschool education for their children; and drive prospects and enrolment (40) into LOT FMC Farrer Park for 2024 Strategies: Sharpen value proposition; create buzz through physical and digital means; strategic partnerships with organisations in the vicinity; FMC members’ support and ‘shares.’ Flagship offerings: Facelift for premises, Montessori enrichment, Open House for prospective students and parents
